Nope they do not, at best their personality can be inspired from the canon characters. (and sometimes some jokes relating to that.) but that's all about it.

This. The futa/futa options are always nice to have. The Juvia one in particular is fun IMO because it's fun to see Laz's "experiments" not go according to plan every now and then. The change of pace gives the game extra texture.

In the waterfall area there's a passage between the bushes on the right-top corner of the map.
Personally, I wish (not a critique, a wish) we had the option ,or quest, to change her back to "pure girl" form when Laz is the one banging her (this could be done since she can literally morph her body by transforming herself into water). I enjoy seeing Laz be on the reseiving end for time to time, but seeing Juvia´s big D when she was getting demolished was a real turn off for me.
