I joined the FDW Discord server from a link on Patreon (I'm a paid supporter), but I don't see the BindrChat channel or whatever it is. Maybe because my Discord email is not the same as Patreon email? From the support channel it does seem like a text-only chatbot. I can't tell for sure.
Just want to lead in with this: if it's not to your liking, you're of course absolutely entitled to not like it.
That said, I can't completely concur with your description of the subplots in the game.
There are paths with several characters that don't involve "rape you until your brain stops working". Since the social construct in the Empire is that males need futas to 'guide' them (it's built into the religious and secular social structure), it is the norm to move in that direction. There are definitely a few characters that only pursue that interest (like the landlady, the high priestess, and the rival priestess) because they're fully invested in the social paradigm (or in the case of the landlady, because she's just way over the line even by Empire norms but hides it well). But with most it's an avoidable option based on player choices.
Sally only has a "brain stops working" ending if you make a particularly dumb decision early on, and she doesn't intend to cause it (she's particularly potent and not terribly well equipped for thinking ahead). Suri has absolutely no "bsw" path that involves her (there's a bad end with the stalker in the park that can crop up in her relationship arc). With the hypnotist side character, you have 100% control over whether you retain control or not going forward to and through her ending. There are endings with almost all character arcs that do not involve the MC losing his mind or getting addicted to the futas' biochemicals.
There is a subset of the binding/mind-control/hypno fetish that finds the concept of permanent loss of control or faculties erotic. It's not that different from vore, except the subsumption is mental rather than physical. I'd completely agree that it's outside of almost all dom/sub variations (although playing with the concept of permanent submission isn't completely alien -- look at tradwife or master/slave contracts; they're not enforceable, but the idea is sometimes flirted with in dom/sub play).
Most routes do lead to happy ending particularly Rye, how ironic that the cruelest bitch in the game gives the most wholesome grow old together type ending. But Demetria ending was defenitly bad so was Mallory(the blond acolyte of the church).
tbf, if memory serves right (it's been a very long time since I played through all the routes), around half the current roster of datable futas still leave you cumdrunk at the end even with their best/happiest endings. Even Rye, for how much of a turnaround she gets in her storyline, still binds you at the end to some degree. Most oddly of all is that Vicky and Suni, the two futas who give more of a damn about male rights, are among the ones that fully bind you. Really feels like they should get a rework but we all know that's never going to happen in this day and age.

I like futa on male, domination, blackmail, forced, sexual harassment, and even rape. Without them, these stories seemed uninteresting to me. , and they're just fantasies, after all. But FDW seems to have crossed all boundaries! Every time I finished playing, I felt mentally exhausted. For me, this game is simply too emotionally taxing, and I couldn't enjoy it. I've seen many games, animations, and mages with similar themes, but I've almost never felt as bad as after playing this one. It's a shame, because I really like it artistically, I enjoy its style. And the characters are also very interesting, expressive and well-written.

To unlock her path you must go to the bar in the city (not the one with Vicky) to talk to Melody and do her dates.
Didnt expect such level of writing from a porn game. Cant really recommend it to friend, but you kind stranger should play through it.
Go downtown and then to the left, on one of the buildings there's a clickable neon sign that will take you into the bar. Melody should appear after you worked there
