You can use the level editor to have sex scenes display however you want, yeah, but as far as getting the voicework and cutscene events with it, there's no way to rip those in any viewable format outside of just recording it as a video.

What games helped you in the creative process and what was something you really wanted in the game no matter what?

I figure the following list I made a while back answers your first three questions, with the caveat that if something is on this list, it doesn't mean it, as a whole work, inspired Future Fragments.

In most cases, it means that some standalone aspect of the series (or something even smaller) inspired something in Future Fragments; could be the aesthetic, the mechanics, the player functionality, etc.

Also, these are just my inspirations, personally; Triangulate and Frouge likely had other inspirations.
A lot of other games have influenced me over time, but these are the ones that specifically inspired some part of Future Fragments in some vague way or another.

I suggest playing the demos to experience them for yourself. A lot of the sex in Future Fragments is in the sprite animations anyway, not CG.

This is accurate; we'll have the editor a few months after release with a robust tutorial and such, as the editor right now only has a bit of a rudimentary tutorial. Personally, I'd recommend against backing the editor tier since we are as close as we are to release, unless you just want to support us a lot/you REALLY want the editor.

Not too much to report this week, just progress as usual. Got a decent amount of cutscenes in at least, just over 40.

As noted though, for the next 2-3 weeks (and maybe slightly more, depending on any issues), I'll be writing exclusively and not injecting cutscenes, so as to hopefully finish off all remaining writing.

But that leaves us with less than 100 to go to inject, which is good news, I figure!

Shhh, if they believe FF won't be out for ages, they should buy the editor so they don't have to wait! Nbd that you have to be pretty adept to figure out how it works. F95zone is full of geniuses who struggle to unzip Japanese game files on a regular basis, but it's just because they're too skilled to grasp basic fundamentals. They'll probably write a tutorial on how to use the editor, pro-bono too! The proof is how they always beg politely request completed save games - it's because their Fortune 500 corporate IT jobs take up too much of their time, they have no choice but to skip all gameplay even with games like yours designed to be more than a one-n'-done.

We've stopped putting out builds to the public/backers as of early 2020, as the remainder of game content that isn't available in the backer demos is heavily spoiler-based. We've still been giving builds to QA testers, but the final game should be out soon, and definitely within 2023.

The "latest" build of the game is v0.27EX, which is available on Steam and Itch, and is a public, free demo.
The other four levels of the game are available on Patreon, but they're from a much older build and have only a tiny amount of the content that'll be present in the final game.

Personally, I would recommend just playing v0.27EX and holding off until the full game comes out, as the current Patreon demos are extremely, extremely old/not good quality compared to what we've got coming for the full game (and thus they might give you a false idea of what the actual full game would be like, versus v0.27EX which is probably like 70% the level of quality of content/polish of the full game).

We just really don't want people backing us unless they can afford it, like, if I find out someone is backing us for any more than 1% of their total monthly income (or if they send a message like "oh im broke this month let me back you next month"), I force refund them as much as Patreon allows me to (most recent 3 months), cause that 1% of your monthly income is the absolute max you should be backing us for, and even that's a lot. Last thing I want is someone ruining their rent or food or other bills because they're backing us.

Yep!

The only exception will be the Narrator, but that's due to aesthetic and other reasons, and the Narrator has only like less than 200 lines.
