what do you mean with "going nowhere"?? this has more content and quite literally better everything than most 100% completed games that funnily has a proper ending.
I'm waiting for you to name me a single game that has a more erotic and emotional LI than Meredith.
While you're already at it with trying to name me a game you might also want to try and find a renpy game that has better orgasm faces than game of hearts... Spoiler you won't. As 90% of renpy games are completely lifeless.
Even the cum announcing is the best I've seen from a renpy game paired with Meredith's orgasm face.

As I said above, I agreed with you. There is no reason to get so defensive. And as I said above I hope I'm wrong, but as of now the game is going nowhere with the last several updates and it says its completed...
The only game I can say that has just as great graphics is Jason Coming of Age. There is also another game that can be a complete pain in the ass to play, but the DEV is getting really good with the graphics using AI called Dreamer Life.

That's fully on me, i was totally on the Meredith withdrawal as i had just finished game of hearts.
Oh yeah that game exists. Played it a year ago or so. I remember it barely having any content as it still had the same slow development as years ago. (istg i played it years ago and then later retried it a year or so ago and i ended at the same place basically)
And in my opinion the only thing Jason coming of age has going on and is "remarkable" compared to other games is the pubes. (that's quite literally the only good thing i remember from that game) i might have to replay it. But right now I'm currently on my NLT media grind.
I will confidently say that Japanese games (rpgms, 2d cg's) games are in the same realm as Game Of Hearts. Of course depending on what game as some are shitty beyond despair. But there's definitely a bunch of gems out there.

What's the difference between Beta and Public?
- Game of Hearts Recap.
Located in the main menu, there is an extensive recap of the prequel, starting from the beginning until the end. It is, by no means, a replacement for Game of Hearts; but it should be enough for those who haven't played it to understand the basic plot.
Do note, however, that it is impossible to capture the emotional context of what happened. This is a summary of what happened; I've done my best to capture what I deem important for the House of Hearts.
- End scene and Teaser for the next Episode.
Self-explanatory.
- Minor UI changes and bug fixes. This is in progress.
- Unlockables. Depending on how much stamina I have left, this feature may be pushed out alongside the first public release.
I want to push out a scene-replay feature, but I'm still figuring out a way to do it without making it a hassle for players. With the number of variables and choices compounding each chapter, this isn't as seamless a process as I thought. Regardless, it's the first chapter; there is no need for that yet.
- In the next release, I will attempt a different distribution pace: The $3 members will gain access to the game 2 weeks before it goes completely public. Early access is still only available for $6 tier and above. Game of Hearts will remain free.
Thank you again for your continued support! It has been quite the insane stretch of time since I've released anything—and I hope it is worth the wait.

Is that Brie in the top-most picture? I don't see the smaller scar on the opposite side of her face. If it is, she looks way less attractive compared to how she looked in the first game. I really hope they didn't change her face. While I like all the girls and how they look in the game, Brie was the only one who transcended beauty compared to the others --if that makes any sense.View attachment 5257268

What I mean is, the style is very consistent between the others. Even the new characters introduced at the end. But Brie just seemed ethereal and as Red says, like there is a halo around her face.
But the picture above and to a lesser degree, the one at the bottom (last one) feel more consistent with the artstyle of the game. Again, this is better in the sense that they are all congruent with each other since Brie stood out (in terms of being at odds with the art style). But again, that was perfect with her being angelic.
It is a real bummer if they *fixed* her for the sequel. If I am wrong and there is somehow another girl but a scarred face then this is just me gushing about how much Brie left an impression on me. And if I am right, I am genuinely saddened by the change.
Just wanted to share my thoughts. I am a long time lurker and this might actually be my first comment on the site but thanks for reading.
I can see what you mean, I think it's mostly due to lighting, her hair being down, and her expressions, but I wouldn't be surprised if her face was changed a bit. When I compare the new and old renders side by side, she looks like she has a bit more fat in her cheeks in the new ones.
Here are some pictures for comparison, Especially the first since it is so similar in pose. I am really unqualified to make an accurate judgement but they feel different. It might be what you said about lighting since it makes a big difference to vibe.
I just know the Brie from my screenshots is otherworldly and the ones from the sequel looks normal.

Ok she still looks gorgeous. Almost like a doll in this picture. I am honestly just confused at this point.
I wonder what others think compared to the pictures I shared above?
Edit: Is it the eyes!? I think it is the eyes. They just scream vulnerability and innocence.
Edit2: Definitely the eyes and the brows. I am certain of it now. They give off a strong feeling of melancholy that is magnetic.
