I made a list of games that I enjoyed since I have been on this site, all these games on this list I 100% recommend. I enjoyed all these games immensely spending hundreds of hours on these games, so many different stories. I thank every DEV for spending hundreds of hours, taking tolls on their own health to allow us a chance to escape our life for a bit and get engrossed in a game. I wish nothing but the best for All the DEVS and hope their careers are prosperous.
I going to label some games that need labeling, some games I played are with Male Protagonist and some I played with a Female Protagonist. When I play games with Female Protagonists I typically play Lesbian romance games so you will see a lot of that. I'm going to separate by Protagonist, first section will be Male protagonist games and in the next section will be Female Protagonist games. I'll also have certain phases to tags in spoilers to give you a better understanding examples:
Romance: This means that the game has romantic content.
Corruption: This means that the game has corruption content.
Harem: This means that the game has harem content.
I understand that some games will have one or more or all of these tags so I will label the games accordingly. I'll place them in the spoiler under the game in question. I also play games on all types of engines, I don't just play Renpy. So you may so some text-based, Unity, or some other types of engine.

Male Protagonist
Melody
Bit of a slow-burn but the pay off is worth it. I remember playing this game years ago and absolutely fell in love with the story and characters, definitely one of the better Visual Novels out there.
Offcuts
One of my favorite Visual Novel games I ever played, the story is amazing. The art is so beautiful and unique and the Love Interests even though they are all different the are so cute and lovable you will not be disappointed in this game. Even though this game has been abandoned there are a few endings already in the game, so you can play it organically and still get the full experience of the game.
Acting Lessons
You guys knew this had to be here, this is probably one of the most well known on this site. This game has one of the most interesting, thought provoking, and stories on this site. The story can get emotional at times but I think that's what makes this game stand out from the rest, giving the players difficult choices to make that have major consequences. But nevertheless definitely recommend if you are looking for a game with amazing character development.
Price of Power
One of the most rewarding games I played, the characters are all so beautiful and the story is so engaging that you'll spend hours playing in one sitting. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a game where story and character development are key.
Hillside
This game is one big mystery to me but in a good way, I see it more as a thriller type story where you have to focus on the story or you may miss something. It is a bit of a slow burn some people think it's to slow but I think it's adds to the charm of the game it's not your average porn game, it's a Visual Novel with adult elements. So if you are looking for a game that will keep you guessing I definitely recommend.
Life with Mary
This game is a bit dated but I thoroughly enjoyed this game when I played. It's a bit on the fast side but not to fast just the right amount to get a good feel of the characters and a good grasp of the story. The story itself is not the most intriguing storyline out there but it definitely has it's strong points. Definitely a game if you are looking to play something that's not to serious.
Little Regina
From the first time I played this game I was hooked, the Love Interests in this game are so sweet and lovable you just want to protect them. The may not be for everyone with the Main Love Interest looking so young but if you give this game a chance I'm sure you will find that this game has an amazing story that draws you in.
Courtship: A Dance with Love
This game was really interesting to me, I enjoy anything with Regency theme and to my knowledge this is the only one I seen that has this theme. The story itself is certainly original in my opinion. The characters are well made, they all have a realistic beautiful to them which I find fascinating. May not be for everybody but I definitely enjoyed playing it.
Daughter for Dessert
This is the first Adult Visual Novel game I ever played and it still is in my top 5, even through this game is dated the characters are beautiful, the story is well written, and even though it's a bit of a slow burn the pay off is so worth it. I can't recommend this game enough if you haven't tried it please do you won't be disappointed.
My Sister & I
I'm absolutely in love with the main Love Interest in this game, she is so innocent, loving, and caring you just can't help but love her. The story itself is not all that original but in my opinion it's well made. It starts off slow at the beginning but it does pick up. I found the renders quite beautiful and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Definitely recommend this game for those looking for a feel good story.
The Sunset Fairies
This game is not a game for everyone and I completely understand, but I enjoyed the game it certainly has it's extreme moments but the story is interesting to me and the main love Interests are cute and loving. The story can be confusing in the beginning but it does a decent job explaining things to you as you go. You can play the game one of two ways. There is the Love route where you treat the main Love Interests with kindness and love, or the Corruption route where you use the Love Interests more in a aggressive sexual way and corrupt them slowly.
Game of Hearts
This game is definitely in my top 10, this game is top tier. The characters are so beautiful, the MC is likeable, and I also like the darkness of the scenes not in a deprived way but an aesthetic way really easy on the eyes. The story itself is in my opinion extremely well written , if you haven't tried it yet please do the story will draw you in.
Sisterly Lust
One of the older games on this list, the renders are a bit dated but all in all I had a lot of fun playing this game. There are so many different ways to play this game and so many different endings that the replay value of this game will have you playing for hours. Definitely recommend if you haven't played this already.
Bare Witness
Definitely a classic in my opinion,Story is so intriguing, all the characters are beautifully made. Also like the pace of the game not to slow and not to fast. It recently just got completed it's one of my favorites if you haven't played it try it out.
Goodbye Eternity
This game has been in development for a while so right now it has a good bit of content. I was really draw to the unique art style, it's refreshing to see something new and fresh not the same ol renders that most of the creators use. Nothing wrong with it just a good change of pace. You can play this game one of two ways you could take the Romantic Approach and be more loving and kind to the Love Interests or the Corruption Approach where you slowly corrupt them to pleasure.
Female Protagonist
A Summer's End — Hong Kong, 1986
Man this game is so fucking good, in my opinion this is the best Lesbian romance game I ever played. Also the soundtrack is amazing if you if your a fan of 80s retro you'll definitely love this game. I periodically replay this game start to finish it's a emotional rollercoaster of a game but truly worth your time.
Broken & Loved
Even though I put this under Female Protagonist you can choose any gender you wish to play as. In my opinion this game is extremely underrated, The writing in this game is phenomenal and the characters are all likeable. It is a 2DCG so that may turn a few people off but it's definitely worth a playthrough if you are looking for a game that puts story first.
Love Ribbon - Afterstory Extended Epilogue
This game is a bit older but the writing is very well done, and the art style is beautiful and the pace of the game is perfect. It's a game you can finish in about 2-5 hours depending how fast you read.
A Wife and Mother
This game is top tier in my opinion, this is a extremely slow burn game but that doesn't really bother me. The game itself is well made, from the writing to the beautiful character models to the character development this game everything one could want in a adult Visual Novel game.
Love is Strange
This game is a parody from the hit video game "Life is Strange" if you haven't played the game you could get pretty confused with the feel of the game but it not necessary to play it you just get a better understanding of the characters if you have. I'm a huge fan of "Life is Strange" series so I gave it a try and I really enjoyed this one. It's 2DCG date sim game. It doesn't have sexual content but it's a great story to read anyway.
LOVE BAKUDAN
This game is truly underrated, really like the art style and the erotic scenes are done very well. The writing is not stellar I found the story interesting enough to keep me reading and I glad I did. But there is a lot of text so this may not be for you if you hate reading but trust me it is worth it if you can power through it.
OshiRabu: Waifus Over Husbandos
This game was such a fun and hilarious game that I finished in one sitting. The art style is beautiful and the characters are so sweet and innocent, there is a bit of a cat and mouse game between the MC and the Love Interest that's entertaining to watch.
Good Girl Gone Bad
One of the best Friend Protagonist games on this site, so many different choices and paths you can take.You can play one of two way you can go for Good girl points which allows you to be more pure or Bad Girl points which allows you to be more lusty. You can play this game numerous times and still get different endings with over 20+ Endings to discover. I got a lot of enjoyment out of this game I 100% recommend a playthrough.
Bad Memories
You can play either as a male or female choice is up to you. I absolutely love this game, one of my favorite and I'm sure a lot of people will agree. The character models are so beautiful especially the main Milf model. The exotic scenes are so well done, the writing is quite good as well. I also like the pacing of the game is a bit slow in the beginning but it does pickup.
Life Changes for Keeley
You can either play the story as Female Protagonist or a Male Protagonist, each has there own independent story. I played this about a year ago and I absolutely fall in love with this story. The main Love Interest Keeley character model is so beautiful, And the Female Protagonist is so likeable as well. It is a bit dated and a bit short but it's definitely worth a play.
The Survival of Sarah Rose
This game is top notch if you are looking for a fantasy game where choices matter. It's a 2DCG game so many different choices to make and paths to discover, only drawback for me is that at times the dialogue can drag on. Other then that it's a truly exciting and rewarding story to experience.
Actual Roommates
One of the newer ones on this list, even though it's pretty early in development you have a good bit of content to get a good flow of the game. The story is pretty fast paced so you don't have to wait long to see content. Even though it's a fast paced game the story is pretty intriguing and well written, the character models are beautiful so all in all solid game.
These are just a few games I remember playing that I enjoyed, I'll add more overtime. If their is any games you guys recommend please let me know I'm always on the look out for new games to experience. Hope you guys enjoy the list.
