It's not about the money, people will always prefer to get something for free then spend any money on it.
And yes, there are people who literally cannot afford a dollar.
If I bought everything that I downloaded on f95 I would be homeless. That being though I do pay for his stuff as I do with others if I really like their work and want to support.
In a way f95 also saves me money as I get to do a full "preview" before I purchase to make sure I enjoy that particular work.
