I just started playing the game but it has a bug that actually ruins the game for me. When Erika invites the MC to the festival there's an error and if you choose to ignore it the MC invites Elisa even if she's not his girlfriend. I don't know if the bug occurs because I messed with the stats a little or because it's just there...

It's there for hours of gameplay AND sex scenes.
The fact that it isn't incest like in Big Brother doesn't mean it isn't present or was ever removed.

As always, a great game. However, I've found that when trying to bring Rita to the christmas celebrations with the MC's family, the MC shows up alone, as if he was never in a relationship to begin with.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I understand the game is leaked on adult sites, and sometimes this brings me new customers as well, however I cannot stress enough that those versions are NOT uploaded by me or anyone linked with me. For what I know the exe might have been replaced with a malware or the code changed so that another kind of content is present. Since those modifications aren’t made by me I can’t control them, and people should be at least aware of that. I know nothing of the sorts will likely happen anytime at all, but I can’t guarantee it.

Have you ever considered polling about it in your Patreon? I mean, literally asking about where your patrons first learned about your game?

I guarantee you will be surprised by the answer. Two of the biggest Patreons out there did this in the past, and the number was somewhere between 60-70% of their current patreons learning about it in sites like this one.

Truth is, Patreon is a terrible, terrible tool when it comes to searching and showcasing it's "products"? Anyone who ever tried to search for specific content through Patreon knows this very well. And it's sites like F95 and the likes where most people actually first learn about a game.

Not only that, but the feedback sites like this one give to its readers about the games in it can become a major deciding factor for future Patreons (it sure does to me and a few others I happen to personally know). Using Patreon alone, you would never get that kind of feedback. Of course, if you're doing something bad, it will show up (and that's a good thing too! You can actually acknowledge that and decide or not to act upon it). But, if its something good, lots of unbiased good reviews (you know, the kind that convinces people to join your project) will pop up.

How so?

The content creator decides to change his project? Can't ask for a refund.
Decides to postpone a chapter? Yup, can't ask for a refund.
Decides to completely ditch his project for another, guess what? Again, can't ask for a refund.
If anything, it's more akin to a donation than anything else. If more ppl would understand this, artists wouldn't have such a hard time with piracy, complains about undelivered updates, etc...

It's all about supporting the artist and his project, and not just "buying" his project.

Oh! And I love your work. Haven't become a patron of yours because, frankly, that doctor gameplay isn't for me, but you do great work nevertheless. Kudos for it ^^

Forgive me my poor choice of words, as I'm not an English native speaker sometimes I use words which are not entirely what I mean. "Customers" IS a poor choice, I'd rather refer to players as "Fanbase" or "Player's community", which I'm very proud of.

For what is worth, people asking me a refund (very few indeed) who approached me politely were always granted the refund by me, since every Creator can issue those up to three months back with no cost for them except the patronage loss.

Too few data, this lines means nothing in fact... You should copy and paste the log here, because I don't even read what the issue is. Also, I see you're playing 0.0.25.1, while the latest release on Patreon (which contains many bug fixes as well) is 0.0.25.3

Devlog: New User Interface!​

As I already posted before, one of the most rewarding experiences of this job is to read and listen to the players' feedback about the game.

This feedback is most of the time very useful as it points out elements of the game which just simply don't work, or others that can be improved and also some that are a complete mess!

Many feedback revolved around the User Interface for actions throughout the game, stating that it was difficult to understand, ugly and... well a complete mess!
Of course, the game is still in Alpha and Early Access, therefore fans usually agree that many elements of the game are temporary and just "work" right now, but as the final release approaches week after week I'm finalizing temporary elements as well!

That said, I'm introducing you the new user interface for the game, probably the ultimate one before release hits the shelves.

The upper bar features new colored icons for the stats, preferences, codex, cell phone interaction, relationship status and a "report a bug" button (in alpha/beta releases only).

The font for the time and date has been made more readable, and so are the icons for the money, energy and the return button as well.
Tooltips will appear below each button for an easier readability too!

The newly introduced staff management screen will be replaced with this version, with "Section" names that will highlight in the section-specific color (in this screenshot it's read for the midwives), while the user interface has been cleaned and made more understandable. Also, the money you actually own are clearly displayed in the top right corner.

Finally the examination screen. This has been completely overhauled.
Buttons that will allow to undress the patient have been outlined to stand at attention. Icons for advanced examinations have been replaced by a tidy set of buttons similar to those used in every game's menu.

Finally, a mannequin (male and female) has been added to the right portion of the screen to choose which area of the body to examine. Since one of the most annoying and reported bugs was about icon placement as different body types have different coordinated within the screen, the mannequin will show icons in the very same position, regardless of the patient, and are usually a better way to show informations.

Always remember that you can hide all game's interfaces by pressing the "H" button on the keyboard if you wish to look at an image without any element to cover it.

This changes will be published in the game between 0.0.26 and 0.0.28, I hope you'll enjoy them.

Although one-third of your total clients isn't a small number, this is considerably less than what I've seen before! As I said earlier, every time I saw a Patreon dev doing the said poll, the number was substantially higher than that.

That's EXACTLY like it!
Though you are, indeed, a great dev and did the reasonable thing, that doesn't change the fact that there is no legal obligation whatsoever to do so.
No dev in Patreon has any obligation for refunds (baring it being a proven scam. And, even then, it's thin ground, from a legal standpoint). Patreons aren't buying anything.
If any of the things I said in my last post happens, a "not-so-great dev" wouldn't be under any legal obligation to do a refund, as per Patreons own rules.
