uhmm.
you have grindy but worth it, and insane don't start if you don't have allot of time.
starter chest is fine, nothing realy overpowered, (some kind of cheat, yeah righ, learn what a cheat is) the gold of 30, just take the damm chest, nothing realy worth in it.
need 300 gold to build your first money maker, and to get the gold, spend hours grinding, hours and hours of grinding.
do you want people to have fun with the game, or just drop it right right away?
i would realy do a balance check, to see if it is justified.
people deside if it is worth their time within the first 10 min.

those ghosts only give 6 gold, and the pub only 2 gold.

and the ammount of gold you get to the ammount you need, way to insane.

but i wasn't joking, i have allot of time availbe, 12 hours of free time each day, and i still feel like wasting time with this game.
get people hooked first, than increase the difucalty of it.
afters hours of grinding for the bar, unlocking the section with the ghosts, seeing it bearly does anything for me gold wise.
i gave up, not going to unlock the inn, i was done, you lost me for now.
i do hope that you take it seriusly.

darksouls is dificalt, but is still fun the moment you start it.
it is not fun cause it's hard, it's fun cause it is fair despite being hard.
remember that, hard but fair, that is part of what makes dificalt games fun.
when games are dificalt for being dificalt, people don't enjoy it.
and you made the start of the game way more dificalt than it needs to be.

increase the gold gain, or reduce the prices of the 2 buildings.
150 each i recomend, no more than that.
it is still a grind, however, it is manigeble, and that increases the fun and engament, wich leads to people liking the game, and supporting you to make it.


and i would also drop the lines with the cheat chest, make that just textless and standard.
for if it wasn't for that thing, i would have dropped the game sooner, i would not have even played till i got the bar, i was about to drop it, and i just opend the chest to make the game manigeble.
i mean it, if it wasn't for that chest, i would not even have unlocked the bar to begin with.

I simply like what you wrote, you let me notice that even after all the adjustaments that you can find in the various changelog, the game seems still too hard at the start. I value every opinion if constructive, so thank you very much

3 buy drugs in Golgasj (after chain quest done)
6-7 are related to the military faction (You can find more in the previous pages)
9 this is the end of the main quest for now (obtained the broken lever from the dungeon, go to the magic tower)

it is not hard.
just boring grind.
and sinds the start is all about the gold, it just gets tediusly anoying to do.
the balance is not for enemy stats, it's for the gold.
grind is fine, get people hooked first, before introducing boring grinds.
i took the starting chest for 1 reason, speeding up the grind. (yes, i wrothe starting chest, for that's what it actualy is, just some starting gear to get going)
not cause the enemy's where to dificalt to kill.
i wanted to enjoy the game, the grind this early is killing it for me.
for it's not a fun grind, their is almost no destractions to enage with, with almost nothing unlocked, to destrect from the grind.
not to forget you have a mandatory cutscene every time, eating up time for a 4 hour grind. (or so it feels) to unlock 1 building, and you need to do it twice.
and while their are church events, giving you 3 on repeat. their is no indicator why your doing it, nor any reason to do it, from a new player perspective.
and sinds 1 building dindt change mutch, i asked myself, will it even be worth it?
all of these factors dropped any motivation left to play.
while the game can be good, the first 10 min is where you need to make it count, for that is the desision phase of giving it a chance, or just dropping it entirely.

I'm stuck. I've been under the tower. I have the M-key and I went to the tower's laboratory, but now I don't know what to do. If I go back to the dungeon, I can't free the pirates, the woman, or activate the device north of the dungeon. Can anyone help me?
