Sure, if you focus on sucking off every single patient regardless of their hygiene levels or mutations, you can reach your quota. True, but I like to go a step further and I try to get the patients in the mood, have different interactions and have fun with the mechanics the game has to offer

Besides, I'm sure there will be different outcomes in the future for getting different mutations

Hehehe... So there will be a rework/balance to mood and tolerance so your approach could help out a lot... darkening3's approach should also work but there will just be some costs is all.

I am not aiming to make the game too flexible because that is just too much for me xD but there should be enough freedom to let people feel how they want to feel when playing the game.

Completely inaccurate. Saber has the sword Excalibur and is 154 cm tall while Claire actually doesn't even have a weapon and is like at least 170 cm. Also their eye color and shape are different.

nothing shady with that, that's how it works on this site and it's the same files (so any virus alerts are from the original files).

any download mirrors fewer than three and the site staff will reupload the provided file to other approved hosting sites (with a few short-term storage options like gofile thrown in to spread the burden from the initial demand).

(providing at least 3 just to share the game/update isn't mandatory since in the same section you can request games without providing them yourself, although it saves uploaders time from having to mirror more on their own, and depending on the hosting used, providing alternatives helps in case the uploader has any trouble downloading from that hosting (which they have to do anyway to test/scan the game))

Where does the installer install it at?

I don't think it should install anywhere though I'm not entirely sure how Linux works. But with the windows version, it runs the exe and uses the files from its current working directory. So if you move the exe into a different blank folder, it should not work at all.

they said windows and exe so not linux. i presume by installer they mean windowsiconupdater.exe (which btw if i'm reading construct's tutorial right, you can unzip the build before distribution, run it yourself, and zip back without it)

There is a Linux version, but you can only find it in the itch site, Endless still doesn't have ownership of this thread so they can't update it

EDIT: Nvm, just noticed that the Linux and Mac versions have been added to the intro. I stand corrected hehe

Gameplay wise, I think taking a note or two from the game On Edge might do some good. Minus the whole "abandoning the game" part that On Edge did of course.

Endless still doesn't have ownership of this thread so they can't update it

owning the op isn't needed to report/submit an update, whether one is a dev or not - you just report the op as game update, with the changelog and a download link in the report, or post it in the thread and report that post (you can also report other issues with the op that way, like dead links or missing/wrong tags or other inaccuracies)

the difference is, owning the thread the owner can update download links and the changelog themself (no delay from waiting for an uploader to get to it) and only use report to push the update to latest updates page.

and apologies if i sound grumpy today. not intended.

yeah. I am a new Linux user and typically you do not need to install anything to be able to play it. Just double click the x86_x64 one and it should work just fine

Hey, AreoAnn! Really appreciate the positive review I hear you about the gameplay loop and others have voiced a similar opinion. Currently, I am addressing some bugs which should be deployed as a hotfix soon and afterwards I am going to make some short term adjustments that should be in the right direction.

I've kind of botched the initial release of this game but luckily there is a good amount of (super patient) people that are offering suggestions and feedback to improve it!
