Noticed quite a few times where MC is still called John, even with having a different name... I assume it is written into the script as the name instead of calling a value? (played it through again, and didn't see it, so my brain might be smoother than usual, or I might have missed it on the second pass)
No other real notes, reasonable first outing, hoping to see some updates coming and see what you're able to do with it.

I've noticed that happen a few times as i was playing through working on it - and someone else mentioned that the son was called Jeff (default) rather than by the name he was given during the dinner scene... Not really sure what is causing that issue but will delve into it and hopefully get it resolved before the next update is released.

Well...if you can't handle that older women have had other partners before the MC then I don't know what to tell you... (there are 5 main character females with children... only one of them that are the MCs children and a 6th one who is also older but has no kids...so yeah, i think it's safe to say that they've fucked other dudes during their lives).
Is somebody going to be stealing away the MCs women and making him look like a helpless buffoon as they happily plow his wife? no.... is it going to be understood and possibly overtly discussed that the women have had sex lives prior to this story... absolutely.

And what's the point of giving the option to skip an image or two if it is a part of the story? I come back to the scene with Aunt Liz during the dream/memory.... The fact that the NPC used to be a little perv voyeur who enjoyed checking out his little sister, mother and aunt is part of who he once was (and who the dark part of his psyche is trying to bring back)... while skipping that particular few frames wouldn't have made any great loss to the story, nor is it any great shock that a woman, who is meant to be in her 50's and never married (the aunt again), would have had a few sexual partners during her life before the MC gets to add her to his list of lovers.

OK, so earlier, we had the Dev literally break the 4th wall, now it feels like it did it again. And yes, it did pass the test to get added this time.

Glad I marked it with a Maybe Later, as the first release, couldn't tell for sure if it was going to worth it or not, but now that there is more to dive into, really like where this going so far. *Showing* a love interest with other men (even in the past and for some viewers/players especially with black people) is generally not well received by the anti-NTR crowd. Mentioning that she had other partners, especially when talking about older LI's is mostly fine.
I would recommend taking out or changing those scenes/frames and either just mentioning that your aunt had other partners or, if you really want to keep a scene there, make a scene with a dildo or something (and if you still want to express her perverted nature, it can be a huge dildo or whatever).

I'm looking into this - you're not the only one who has had this issue and it doesn't make any sense to me as the code is pulling from a dictionary that gets updated when you enter the character names...

Ok, worked out a way to force refresh the persistents within the nickname dictionary so in the future this shouldn't be an issue anymore... but that won't go in until the next update...

for now, what SHOULD work is save...close game..restart game and then load... that should push a refresh with your entered names feeding into the nickname dictionary

Also tried adding image to it as well as a start_image (image apparently shows up if it can't find the video file... it only shows the start-image... then deleted the start image info and still nothing shows up, so it's definitely seeing my video...it just doesn't want to display it and since nothing else is in the test script, i just get the checkerboard null background.

well then your game should have the cuckold tag, does not matter if it in the past, its still shown.

I think getting hung up on a label does no one any good. If Liz is supposed to be a LI in this game, then she is what is considered to be 'in play'. This means that depictions of her in the past that would constitute "vague term here" if encountered in the present while she is an active LI of the MC will still render a similar response, sentiment, etc. regardless of what you intended, DV FiSTer.

I see no reason why in the case of Liz it was that particular scene with that particular setup that was needed for the flashback. Why not the perving on your mom be when she is fucking your dad? That is much more likely to be something that could have happened, rather than the MC somehow being in the same house with Liz and some random "Very stereotypical BBC" that canonically is almost exclusively used in titles with the NTR tag.

If you are trying to pull something and be coy with it, just remember that you are barking up the wrong tree here. People that want that content want to be able to search for tags that have it, just like people that don't want that content want those tags to be there so they can exclude it in their search.

If you aren't trying to be coy then take the feedback as it is intended and don't worry about the particular vernacular used to try to convey said feedback.

So again I say, I'm going to do this project the way I choose... if that makes some of those with extreme feelings on either the "IT MUST BE NTR" or the "THERE CAN BE NO ONE ELSE EVER EVEN HIS MOM MUST BE A VIRGIN!" side of things not wish to play it, then so be it. My feelings won't be hurt. Just as I won't be at all bothered if someone who only enjoys trans or futa type games... or is into nothing but male-male homosexual content... not wanting to give this one a go...
neither of those types would be interested in this game either, and that's okay. It certainly doesn't mean I'm going to change the way I make it.

My suspicion, however, is that the majority out there are closer to the middle and don't mind a bit going on in either direction.

I neglected to switch to scene only lighting so cut off this render about 30 seconds in to redo with lighting that matches the rest of the scene (much darker - it's nighttime outside by the hottub in the scene as opposed to the daytime sun from the dome lighting I was using while staging the image)... so, yeah, poor quality, but a glimpse of what's to come in the next release

That's actually a really good idea... everyone nailing everyone else and keep it secret...
I doubt I'll do that in this game, but definitely an idea to maybe mess with another time (either a new game, a stand alone spinoff episode or two of this one, or a bonus episode maybe) would definitely be a funny premise

if not this game then please the new game lol, a plot like this more time in the sun
