I wouldn't go as far as that guy did, but the current approach is unsustainable. I appreciate that you don't just want to make players grind busywork to justify it being a game, but as you add more ingredients it'll just get more and more tiresome.Yeah, many people said it was too fast. Thought more challenging = more fun. like that osu game. I'll think about letting the player choose the difficulty . And I sadly don't own a pc, just a laptop. A cheap one too. But it runs smoothly.
If I may provide a counter idea to difficulty selection: letting players "Train" in the training grounds to improve their stats. But instead of being for combat, the stat improvement is just for ramen. Improving reaction time gives more time to make the ramen ingredients, better endurance can allow for more orders to be made in a single shift, Charisma gives better tips, etc. This would both give more depth to the minigame AND be a funny subversion of what the training field is used for in this Naruto spoofs.
