no, as in for example uploading the game up to 0.4 on steam, but only upating the steam version until 0.5 and so on. so if people want for example 0.4.1, they pay on patreon, if not they buy the steam versrion for longer updates that take longer to come out than patreon.

YES! This is what I wanted to hear. This gives me so much hope. I'm simping hard for the queen, even though there is pretty much nothing yet. im not done playing through all the routes yet, but the fact that no one even suspects the agitations to war of being false-flag operations by a possible third party even after both naya and regina clearly stated they had no idea about the respective raiding parties is irking me something fierce, lol.

hell, the MC has shown to be quite perceptive in other paths as well. they even put him in advisory roles in some paths for it. Even Regina herself compliments how logical the MC can be. Medea, the MC, and i think one or two others should know something smells fishy.
how even he can't put together that having easily recognizable indicators in both groups and how none of the guardians over the two kingdoms know about any support being given by their respective kingdom is odd baffles me.
honestly, it's a clear cut case of "for the sake of the story, everyone is conveniently empty-brained on the subject" Which i understand, but it's hard to ignore expecially because they played their hand early by clearly hinting to the player at it being false-flag ops. They should have waited to give the clues to the audience until the war started.
still, love the game and storylines overall so far.

This is exactly what it felt like. And both guardians are acting stupid, and everyone's acting like Naya's the dumbest when they're all equally dumb.
They can still save the story if they make up for it somehow in the coming updates.

I doubt they would be still updating this if they were struggling financially. Aside the fact that they have Patreon auto block customers via payment info if/when they suspect someone of sharing.
