Was this part with Margarita really the best move? I like her a lot too but it's only been, like two weeks since the start of the game chronologically I think. Where do you go from here?
I think that it would be better if you show a screenshot of "this part" bud.

Exactly. Most of the people in this thread sympathize with the "slaves" that we often see in Homa are very funny, when it's explicitly mentioned multiple times that slavery in Homa is not a caste system, it's more of a "if you commit a crime severe enough, you will lose all your rights" which while I think is draconic, there is a moral justification for it. I would definitely say Homa is more Lawful Evil than Chaotic, I feel like Chaotic would imply there are absolutely no laws in place, but there are in Homa they just favor giantesses and are a bit undermined by rampant corruption.
About the whole crime deal, just like IRL, there's pretty heavy corruption going on with such draconian penal measures. You see it in Yakuu's route, the one lady who's manor was robbed and her pet's face scarred wanted the thieves executed for murder despite killing no one, so she faked her pet's death to get them the death penalty.

There's a saying, "in order for a government to deny the populace's rights, they need to convince the populace criminals have no rights"- because then, all they need to do to strip you of your rights is declare you a criminal.

Yeah, figured that would happen sooner rather than later. It's why Marg is actually my least favorite of the giantesses, there's no conflict in her good route (marrying after what, a week? Two weeks?) and then her bad route, while it actually has some hot things in it, requires you be an absolute ass to get to it.
What her route needs is more characters to bounce off of; I'd do another giant couple, make it a double date, and the other giantess jokes around about "bullying" (nigh abusing) her husband when he does something she doesn't like, and the guy looks just miserable- and then give the player the choice of being a "happy life happy wife" simp/sap, or actually standing up and stating that it's not OK, and upsetting Marg by "embarrassing" her in front of her guests or something.
FFS it needs some kind of conflict- I know people have called it "farmville with giant waifu" but Rune Factory had conflict- hell even Harvest Moon had asshole neighbors, maybe? Idk never played that one.

I feel that one of this games biggest weaknesses is its timeframe. Things are just going too quickly, especially with some of the routes. Like, I get why things are like this, it’s probably more to do with making it so that developing the game and story doesn’t become too unwieldy, or making the game take forever to play. That and with how this game updates, making it so that it doesn’t take till 2070 to finish. But still, the developer could’ve planned better or used more or bigger time skips or something. I don’t it mind that much personally, but still there’s been moments where I’ve got taken out of it by how fast things are moving. Honestly, the thing that takes me out of the game the most is the grammar usually. Christ, the developers need to hire an editor or something.

On a completely unrelated note, always find it funny when people on this thread get into the Homaspernia delenda est mode.

Again, the criminals in Homa we've seen are actually terrible people that I didn't feel bad at all for :KEK: They're either rapists, murderers, psychopaths or all of the above. No one is arguing whether Timfalme with its more progressive judicial system is better, obviously it is, but there are far worse places to be in than in Homa in this world with a good portion of them completely lawless and anarchical.

It's actually funny how hard you missed my point.

you couldn't be more wrong about this. I stress this again and again that the so called "criminals" could be completely innocent people who were enslaved and then declared criminal. The offences that can land you in the ring with Kendra and Nyxmay range from being a mass rapist to... being completely innocent lol. And there's no way to be sure which is which because they all have subhuman rights or none at all. One of those people crushed under Nyxmay in the ring could be the relative of someone who got crushed by Kendra in some neutral territory (cos it's so fun, oopsies!) and decided to rebel against the Homas, only to be lumped in with the thieves and murderers with an insane crowd cheering on his death. The fact that you said "they're murderers thieves rapists all of the above" with so much conviction without a shred of doubt makes me think people like you are the perfect propaganda targets.

I call that consistency. No one likes inconsistent character writing. 10/10 for consistently missing the point

One Question. How do I get to Queen Orphelithm Route?
Go with Maryen --> Sheina --> stay in castle when queen asks you --> don't go outside the castle with the hooded thief giantess ---> Be SUPER respectful to the queen until she asks you to be her assistant or summin.

Hope this helps. lmk if u get stuck

there's a guide on the first page of this thread that you can follow.

Real talk tho, given what we know about the Queen, what do you think are her reasons for tolerating Homaspernia? A critical resource for the continent? Blackmail that could jeopardize her rule? A blind spot born from her desire to preserve the last remaining kingdoms, no matter what the cost? Convenience since they get rid of people in the Neutral Territory? Maybe Orpelith was born in Homaspernia before coming to what is now known as Timfalme? All of the above?

On Homasparnia info (on the first page of this thread) its said Homasparnia got the largest giantess population on the continent on top of that the terrain is literally scorched earth plus the Homasparnia is not just going to take it its gonna fight back I believe it would be almost impossible to destroy Homasparnia without a sluggish and brutal campain its good to note even if Timfalme is stronger than other kingdoms there is no large gap of strengt in between. And just like what I said before invading Homa would do no positive the people would still hold the same belief and values as before and under new rule things would go back to normal yet again like nothing was changed to begin with.

That's why it should be nuked completely off the map. It's a creeping demonic taint that slowly poisons more and more soil as it spreads (Viridice route confirms it outright). It's only a matter of time before the whole continent is consumed by the spread of corruption, if nothing is done about it.
I am pretty sure that Homaspernia was just as green and lush as Viridice, before corruption turned it into the purple demonic realm we see in the game.
