So I only found out about this by chance and you're not linking to our version or acknowledging that you've linked to our sound pack. You have only negative things to say about the extensive work we have done to get the game into this shape from a broken machine translated mess. The mod you made, it was a mess already. This is a quality of life mod, it is to improve on the mess you made, but also to add bits and pieces, instead of stealing code from other people's work. This is toolkitxx's version of your mod, as he/she obviously didn't like the way you were heading, with the ill-fated shoe addition. Instead of adding constantly, why not fix what is broken first? This is obviously independent completely from your own work, but then I doubt that the original Russian makers sanctioned your own mod. There is no point being negative, you should be happy, and a bit proud that someone is taken it upon themselves to improve your own mod, no?
I wouldn't bother, if I were you, sanctioning things that you don't own or create in the first place.

The link clearly states it is your soundpack - so i cant see your point about missing information.
Second of all - your version has its very own thread here on F95 with every single link and its own discussion area.
Third: The OP couldnt be anything more clear what it is based on and credits properly - its even bigger and red to not to be missed
Finally: I repeat what Finneyyy also already stated about 'sanctioning'. The base we use was already a modified version of another version. QSP is an open format and we take advantage of that as you did yourself. I even pointed users towards you when being asked if they could use the mod with your updated image pack - so read and inform yourself properly please.

New update Version 1-6 is out - OP has been updated accordingly.

some of the highlights of this version are:

- the new reminder function of the phone. It will remind you at the beginning of the day with the phone notebook entry. This happens when a new day begins meaning if you are out and about you will get the reminder right then. If you went to sleep like a proper girl should at that age it will be the first thing when you wake up.

- sleep has been fixed to have actual influence on stats again. As a beginning it will influence your mood - so no more running around for weeks without seeing a bed.

- job search via the computer/laptop will only take 15 minutes to make it more realistic to actual find a job during a week

Important reminder: Please make sure you change to the new image pack as a majority of pictures has seen a size update

I'm not gonna go and say what the others did 1:1 but will say a few things:
1. Welcome to the forum. I DO like the ECV version of the mod and possibly put somewhere between 70-100 hours into it.
2. This mod does NOT NEED your support or acknowledgement at all. You're in way over your head, if you think it does. The fact that someone working on a mod is acting this way because of a mod of his mod is ridiculous.
3. You call the version prior to yours a "a broken machine translated mess", but if you look at the progress this Quality Of Life mod has made in such a short time you can't really say, that your code is not a mess as well. It's only fair to improve upon that. I know you spent huge amounts of time working on the ECV, but it doesn't mean it's perfect. There have already been lots of improvements.
4. Instead of looking at this and seeing how your project can benefit from this as well, you're here throwing a tantrum in a post you didn't spent much time thinking about. If you did, you would have actually looked at the OP.
5. If you actually looked at the game for just a second, you would've seen that you get credited multiple times on the startup screen in big bold font. ("based on the 0.601 ecv[English Community Version]") and it even links to your wiki.

I get that you're mad, since this exposes you quite a bit in adding things you openly called impossible, but you could look at the script and make your own version of these things, instead of feeling like you're personally attacked. This is a very childish way to approach this and I have to say, that I expected better of you, since I had quite a bit of respect for you based on the work you have done and creating a mod, that I was utterly in love with.

Thank you for the welcome, I've been a lurker for a while.

The sound pack link says its for our version not that it is a link from our home page.
I know of the page here for our version of the ETO, which we call Girl Life.
Your credits to us are fine, I mentioned the lack of a link to our project much as we offer a link to DeGross' thread for ETO but that is not of huge importance.
By santioned I was pointing out how you made no attempt to comunicate your intentions, mjsmagalhaes when starting the Girl Life project made every effort to talk to DeGross and DeGross had made it clear in his thread that he was happy for anyone to carry on development based on his game. No one at Girl Life has made such a statement and permission was not asked for. This is not something that can result in action it is a matter of respect and manners.

Oh and Finneyy, you know nothing and your comment proves this.

That is the essence of the internet. A link to something doesnt 'belong'. Now it doesnt even point longer there - you seem to want to make it more troublesome for users in general which i tried to avoid.

Your statement is not the same as permission but let's do the you did you read thing: "Based upon ETO (This IS), made by DeGross, EfimovRA, etogame". Not a mod or adaption, Girl Life is a game based on another and registered as such on TFG and you are modding it.

TFG only stores the last 1000 PMs so I don't have yours anymore.

The latest image pack seems to have the cards from the casino bigger than before. Now playing Blackjack is a bit of a pain...

Also, when flirting with the recepcionist in the hotel $CURLOC: hotel, her answer is meeting with her husband, rather than my husband.

The option to modify the weather and the temperature in the cheat menu doesn't seem to work. The one for time does, though... I am in the second event of the exhibitionist chain and I don't want to wait 4 months from December to be able to go to the beach penedeyewink:

Very good catch again with the cards. I attach the card-pack to this reply for those who want to have a 'quick fix'. These go into /images/locations/city/industrial/casino/. They will be part of the next regular update as well as the convo is fixed in it

It actually changes the weather but the stat window doesnt update properly - on work list now

P.S.: Added a notifier to the stats for it now so it becomes visual when the weather has been manipulated. Part of next update.

In your next weather update can you add the °F switch to cheat menu. I live where it's used more then °C. Since the change to your weather system is different then original and my lack of knowledge in coding I couldn't add it myself. thx
