Catching up on some of the old posts on tfgames and here helped me figure out why some events feel out-of-sync. There seems to be a disconnect between player-induced actions and writer/lore-induced actions. I think the world canon is that you're either a weak/vulnerable young woman, or a fresh/confused transformed man. The problem is that within a couple of in-game months of basic working out, reading/studying, training with magic-users, etc. it feels weird when your character still has little agency when dealing with a town and city rife with scammers, thieves, rapists, and manipulators. Like, why are Sveta's only options either completely avoid a situation or become a "cocksleeve" when she has almost max strength, agility, spell casting, endurance, etc.? Clearly, violence has a certain level of acceptance in this world, but there are very few moments when she can either use her combat skill or even dominate a person/situation. She could even build a reputation of being a poor choice of victim, similar to other life simulation games like DoL.
In fairness, most of what I'm referring to are the random events and encounters. In a game where the PC's virginity/purity is tied to deeper decisions (e.g. relationship with mother, event pathing for story arcs, dialogue choices with a number of characters...) and playstyles, it feels kind of cheap to lose it in a random sequence that has less interaction than a visual novel. It may just be a case of no programmer or writer has touched them in a long time. I've noticed very rarely does a situation occur in school that seems almost entirely out of the player's control. Most of those do seem to give a variety of options to resolve a conflict, but they also feel far less meaningful (i.e. mostly existing as a mechanic for social standing).
Rambling aside, the only faculty relations you can work on are Mr. Tsarev, the janitor, and the coach, right? Can't really seem to raise the other's relationships, so I'm assuming if they have any content it's either tied to a pure delinquent build or just random events?
