Yeah from what I recall on Katrin's Path I thought the FMC actually wants it to happen if you play her mother's path. So I don't recall it feeling like any kind of cheating expect maybe at the start of it when you are flirting with her behind the FMC back
I don't see what that has to do with making it a bad idea. The open relationship has no effect if the MC flirts or not with the mother behind the FMC's back at the start of the path that's on all on the player / MC. The open relationship was primary for Katrin's benefit because of her husband being disabled or something I forget the details now.

Can't say I agree because no matter how you look at it he is with the FMC first and foremost. So him making a demand of Katrin not being in an open relationship would feel like an asshole move until they get serious especially because he is dating her daughter. Even then it would be an open relationship because the MC has no right to demand she split up with the FMC's father who both care for. Now the only thing I would agree he has a say in is to not see anyone but him and her husband.
I believe that many paths have been opened at this time and that the author must decide on a direction. Something must be left. It cannot go on like this. He can't keep everything open. Unless he invests an enormous amount of effort. He has to pursue two completely different paths.
what about her as far as I recall he isn't in a open relationship with her they are either exploring NTS or she is cheating on him or completely faithful. But I wouldn't say the sharing is exactly a open relationship yet either cause they are more in the early stages of it.

sorry but isn't fmc idea he started making a move,from the 1st scenes with katrin and kevin.U forgot when the partent was visting,the apartement that mc and fmc bought.Plus he only heard about brian as katrin,very very later in the game.
The dev wanted to give us varity it is crystal clear.They can make small update every 1-2 months like some dev,i would worry about the effort they should put as they know what to do.
Yes the MC did try to talk Katrin into choosing him instead of her lover onces he found out she had a lover.
I have yeah. I know Lucrezia is supportive I just can't remember if she has fully agreed to it. My memory is terrible sometimes.
She is completely supportive of it. She much prefers her mom be with MC rather then Brian.
I do feel sad for Ronnie if I get the option he will be getting no where hear her.
