I mean what he just described was GGGB. I know the the original glamour was first, but this is going to be 3d GGGB minus the banned content. My only hope is that he can learn about his story telling mistakes with BB and avoid them with Glamour. It's nice to see some more female character games, but don't come off like yours is going to be better than a male protagonist because of it. I mean it's 2018 you could have a bi guy and bam same kind of outcomes as the ones DS mentioned. God I think I threw up a bit writing that last sentence.

Female games don't suffer from the NTR bug because no one gets too immersed into the female MC unlike a male MC. I mean if you play a good chunk of female MC games there's almost always NTR in them.

just a fyi once the game is released (which according to what I've talked to, the current in game renders will be reworked) I'll take over the thread and will make it identical to bb's. If the game gets enough traction then we'll move onto popular games forum which will then in turn make it easier to manage.

How is he wrong? I'm genuinely asking. Of all the games I've played with male MCs: DMD, BB, MotH, Gates: The Opening, Love&Sub, DoD, DoDana (to a lesser extent), Babysitter, The Twist, SuperPowered, Summertime Saga and some of the less popular ones, the core theme in all of these was to fuck all the girls that came your way.
I don't see how he's wrong in that aspect, much less a retarded statement when 11 of the more popular games here are exactly as he described (some more than others).

When you have one male MC ,u can never have other males...
Even if we have some males in game ,it's for sure no fun stories with them.
Nothing really matters until one of them fucked a girl!

It will be hard to make you really care about those men's background and what will happen to them in an adult game.
They are just some rock and dirt on the road to girl's house.
It limits the game's story.
He is also making the female equivalent of those games. Anyone whose played enough female MC games know the basic outline to this game isn't something new. You start off innocent then choose how slutty you want to be. The thing is what he described was a lack of story telling something he failed with BB. If you want the best female MC game GGGB will probably still smoke this out of the water.

ofc the core theme of those games was to fuck all the Girls, most of those games are harem style. a guy who fucks all the Girls isnt the same as a guy who is "a perfect alpha-male". i did over 50 game Reviews on this site, on of my most used sentences in those Reviews is: "the mc who acted like a stupid beta bitch".
Gates: The Opening has a mc that i would call "a perfect alpha-male". but do you really think BB max or that stupid cunt ethan in "Ethan's Legacy" are "Alpha males". ethan was the most beta male EVER. the mc's in the incestor games are often FAR from perfect, but still find a way to fuck all the Girls.
and also there are games where the Focus is more on 1 or 2 Girls, where again the mc is far from Alpha and only fucks 1 or 2 Girls. like tangled up.
so if you want i can look at all the games i played and Name every game thatdidn't have a "perfect Alpha male".

Yeah, I see what you mean from that perspective. Take away the specifics from both and you simply have an MC, male or female, looking that will eventually be looking for sex anywhere and everywhere.

So your primary issue with his statement is the fact he used the term "perfect alpha male". I was more so looking at the "fuck all the girls" part of the statement. When he said that, I don't think he meant exactly what he said. I think he used the wrong terms to describe what he really meant. That at the end of the day, those games boil down to fucking all the girls, thus making the MC an "alpha", cause he has a harem. See what I'm getting at? But when you dissect the actual character of the male MCs, you're obviously gonna find differences. Not all of them will have "alpha" personalities, but they're considered "alpha" cause they have all the girls. I think that's what he meant.

Well, DS himself said on Discord that male MC is really straightforward as he can't use other males. He's kinda right as I think sandbox with male MC and other males would get more shitstorm he has now and whole idea of sandbox is being burried without living city.
If you're looking to make money it obviously works. Hell he ditched his first attempt at Glamour to make BB which made him the big dev we all know today. I'm not trying to bash him for restarting his project or for going forward with a female MC rather than a male. I like to see devs continue to be able to work and progress, but he was being arrogant with his statement. What he needs to improve on with Glamour is his ability to tell a story and maybe his h scenes which also got a lot of flack. I'm sure a lot of us are going to give Glamour a go.
No you can have other male characters. DS was just bad at it. Take for example Eric. I'm sure if the grind wasn't so goddamn bad people would not have been so critical of him but it took so goddamn long for the people not into sharing/NTR to get rid of him. Most male MC games don't do the competition aspect of another male character right at all.

ok i guess i see what you mean. but again there are quiet a few games that aren't harem style and the male mc doesnt get a harem. "My New Roommate " and "tangled up" only have 1 main Girl the mc wants, and 1 side Girl. and so many more... and obv all the ntr/cuck games that i don't Play, but OBV the mc doesnt get all the Girls for himself.
so a few games that arent harem style with alpha male: One [Chapter 1 & 2] [LJUBOVSKY] , Suddenly A Party , A Day With Gwen , Strangers in a Strange Land (LOL), Hack'n Stalk , Intimate Relations , Dual Family.
and so on. there are many ways how to make a male mc porn games, to say that you can only have a

is imo just stupid and wrong.

I was the one of the first people, if not the first to criticize his lack of attention to detail in the h-scenes, and that was back in like V6 of BB, give or take. Hadn't changed much since. Hopefully he learns from that, if nothing else.

That's just what he said. Knowing how people would react on any content with any other male in his game so it's hard to blame him.
