arn't they too tall to be goblins? The bigger ones are Hobgoblins..... hmmmmm:unsure:
Here I go, gettin' all intellectual about porn games again.

TL;DR: So, I too tend to think in D&D terms about these kinds of creatures, but that's a very modern western culture kind of view.

Technically, terms like goblin, hobgoblin, orc, bogie, etc. all roughly mean the same thing and are all pretty generic "monstrous demony evil spirit creature thing." Historically, they've all been used to refer to a wide variety of different shapes and sizes of creatures.

It wasn't long ago that I was trying to understand the difference between goblins and orcs in Tolkien's writing, and what I found out is that he used the terms mostly interchangeably. Different peoples in Middle Earth use different terms to refer to them, but they're all the same race of monster.

It's really not until Dungeons & Dragons that you start to get a consistent classification system of them all as different things. So, while D&D is as much an inspiration as any fantasy novel for stories like these, no one is really beholden to any such rules about what exactly qualifies as a "goblin" as apposed to any other similar creature. You could've translated this game to call them orcs, and it would have been equally valid.

Eh, it wasn't quite DnD that did the classification. That would be Tolkien, since a hell of a lot of the elf, orc, goblin, dwarf, and more ideas for DnD was ripped right from LotR.

But yeah, the original myths they were much more interchangable. Hell, modern kobalds pull almost entirely from the small dog/ lizard creatures of DnD, but originally they were a type of fairy / elf. Norse mythology dwarves and dark elves are the same thing. There are dozens of examples where the modern idea of what a mythical thing is fixed as being are really recent, with actual old / original myths being vague and using multiple terms for the same creature, or the same term for different creatures.

Just gonna let anyone planning to play this know, you can PRESS W on the map to clear the orgasm gauge to zero (since you fckn die when it maxes out, which is dumb).

Not sure if glitch or secret but made the game at least playable to myself.

This one is for all my homies at the caves,
I love you bros, i wouldn't be here if not of you
Let's do this !

When ma homies and i invade the city,
The bitches go crazy cuz we're all big and stiffy,
We'll take them and plug them, it's what we do,
Have problems ? call Hero, we'll plug her too,

We'll continue to screw, have cream-pie or two,
We'll plug you and fill you, bear child or two,
We'll continue to grow, and take it all,
Unless Goblin Slayer comes and kills us all,
We'll even take this castle with that thicc elf bitch,
Our strength is in horde, deal with this bitch.

What Hypocrisy, there are games, prohibited for those under 18 year, and it's still censored!?
If it has the tag 'Japanese Game' expect censorship. Japanese law is very strict about what can and can't be shown in games and art.

hi all new here
I need some help with this part
I don't what i did wrong here i did everything just as the post says but it still shows up as these pics i took
the only thing that did get translated is the Escape only

If someone is interested, some minor translation patches, at least concerning the sex assaults during the combats.

It includes:

1/ The translation to try to get free in the combat menu:
View attachment 1404874

2/ The translation for the results (both for success=free, and failure=still captured):
View attachment 1404877

3/ The beginning of the -approximate- translations for the comments of the heroine. I guess I've translated at least all the comments for the first assaults (a bit more, in fact). But there are a lot of work and I don't speak any word of Japanese: if anybody else wants to finish the job...

BTW, I've used the name "Herene" for these comments, which seems however to be the wrong name for the heroine: apparently, it should be "Helene" instead, but Herene is used for here name almost everywhere, so ....

To install my "patch":
- download then decompress the attached zip file,
- replace the "plugins.js" file with the one provided in the "www\js" subdirectory of the game,
- replace the "CommonEvents.json" file with the one provided in the "www\data" subdirectory of the game.

Before, DO BACK UP your 2 original files.

2 More comments (and/or questions):

- Did anybody notice that the media files (i.e. images and sounds) are provided both time ? Once with their original format, and once with the standard RPG Maker "encryption" format. Which makes the release twice bigger than needed.

- I'm a bit puzzled by one of the captures in the first post of this topic. The sixth image (i.e. the heroine being assaulted by a goblin) shows an already translated comment for the assault (which is not present in the game release). Huh ???

Sorry for being late to answer ...

Honestly, I don't remember exactly all the details of my translation patch. But as I've already specified it before, it was a very small patch: only for some menu commands and the result of some actions. I mean, for instance the dialogs from the heroine and/or the monsters during a fight have not been translated (just a very few of them at the beginning).

So I guess you're probably encountering the parts I've not translated.

If you can see the 'Escape' menu during the fight (i.e. https://attachments.f95zone.to/2021/09/1426764_capture1.jpg) and if you can see the result of this action in English (i.e. https://attachments.f95zone.to/2021/09/1426767_capture2.jpg), that means you've correctly installed my patch.

And also that you'll have to wait for an -eventual- more complete translation of this game ...
