I am stuck in the small pyramid and can't seem to get out when I take the elevator back up. Anyone know how to fix this?
Not the map error, only occurs when starting combat.
It has happened in two different locations before combat. Battle with the snakes and battle with Neko in tomb.

when you say "bed doesn't work" do you mean you can't rest at the farm or after resting you haven't healed? Because that should definitely heal you up, and that's worked for me across every version I've installed.
It was after the 1st mission, when you enter the farm the first time it says you can rest/heal up on the bed. I thought oh good but then screwed around for 20 mins and couldnt get it to do anything. Just trying to figure out if i want to devote a week or so on this game or move on and try something else and that annoyed the hell out of me

sooo you didn't try to use the bed, go outside, talk to that girl, and go back to use the bed again? it might happen that the game wants something bewteen using the bed twice in a row, i don't even know because it hasn't ocured to me. i've never came across the actual need for healing after the very first quest (which is just to get the priestess and the first Gob girl) but might try when i find the time to play it through again.
Thanks, I decided to give the game another 90 mins or so and Im cool now. Liking the game. The cheat option gives you the ability to not get too caught up with making sure youre completely healed before each mission, which is good enough for me.

it's also a big money saver in the long run, because you don't have to spend on potions.

can someone help me im stuck in central city despite all the goblins being dead and i have spoken to every npc both day and night? i last played in version 4488
If it's an old save then that's the issue. If it's not an old save I have to investigate...

Love how this game doesn't take itself too seriously. Also, the main character just an all-around cool type.
