is the grindr scene working cause i am asking "are you doing something after" and it doesnt do anything??
hmm maybe the conditions for that event have been changed. usually i go for that grindr chick first, usually (after saving the priestess etc.) i do a full round in town, pick up crap to sell, beat up the amazon chick, visit all the others (bar, smitty and so on, also have to have the lockpick breaking event at that time), visit a room? and get some decent equipment, visit the farmgirl, then go check up grindr and implant the first baby. i mean, there used to be the one and only chance to have a baby early on. man's gotta do his stuff, right? ...right? now, actually that doesn't work anymore.having the same issue
there's almost nothing in town to open and pick up.
the equipment crates in a room don't give the decent stuff thes used to, anymore.
the first grindr happening, doesn't happen anymore; i've tried going out, back to town, and back to grindr, and: NaN. no event.
well the latter is maybe conditional now, the chick being kind of all business, maybe wants you to actually spend money and do runs in the grindr before you get to do her. raises the question why she still asks if you're 'doing someone' at that time, should be not until she actually lets you 'do'.
haven't gone that far yet.
to be honest, i don't really enjoy playing this anymore, because all 'moving scenes' are a lagfest now, even in skip mode (shift key nailed down until it's over) it crawls at average 2~5fps because the shitty game engine is a shitty browser and wants to do webGL over CPU, never ever touching the GPU cache, even some of the fps hacks suggested at the RPGmaker help forum don't improve anything.
i won't play any RPGM games outside of the sandbox no matter what, because the game engine will always try to mess with my OS, and will always try to connect to somewhere behind the scene. that's google for ya.
now, inside the box, this game here now running webGL mode is slower than before when playing video sequences, or changing scenes, or even changing the content of the text window.. it used to be slow in canvas mode. now it's sluggish in webGL mode. it never runs a true fullscreen which would force the engine to go into direct HW access (game's 'fullscreen' is still a full size window) because it's still shitty google chrome pretending to be a game engine. google knows better. just.. they don't.
by now i'm out of ideas how to make it run smooth, the GPU force hacks and some other stuff at the RPGM forum were some last ditch effort.
certainly not buying a new computer for one single game.
btw there is no notable difference between the full game and the compressed version.
