Loving the dialogue so far.
I got this working under Linux with Lutris and Wine10.20-TKG container with just DXVK enabled. I tried Bottles and a few other methods but had issues.
Only 2 things of criticism so far, however...
(don't get upset
)
1) The real'ish video/images of characters when you find them is a bit too out of context for the art style. Going with a much more cartoon like character intro and other such things would be better.
AND lucky for you, the world of LLM AI models can turn pretty much anything into exactly that with some fine tweaking, so maybe consider playing with those sometime to try and match up the artwork a LITTLE bit better with gameplay art-style etc?
2) You should consider doing some voice acting for the game, even just in parts or the beginning as a TEST would be nice. Again some voice acting is OK with LLM models and you can train them off your own voice or donated fan voices.
However getting a model that also portrays inflections/emotion can be tricky but I think they have some ways to do some of that.
FYI: Lots of people train their own voices into a LLM VA model and get pretty damn good results. Nice and cheap, but decent middle ground solution!
