Ren'Py Goddesses' Whim [v0.3.8 Public] [Ncrow]
I have a couple of minor "nitpicks" with the MC - like how he's still utterly oblivious to keeping his OPness in check in non-combat events (like when he single-handedly pushes the wheelbarrow in the 2nd village) and how nobody even bothers to care anymore 
, though the latter can be "forgiven" in his starting village as he had other priorities during his starting battle with the dire wolves. He has the typical funny japanese VN MC energy when he gets hyped up when the task may involve erotic happenings (hot spring, ecchi rewards etc), but I don't consider this as bad!
But as I've come to appreciate (more or less) drama-free wholesome content much more over the years (in ero games or normal console rpgs), I do quite enjoy the experience. Ryouko is simply too adorable to resist as confirmed and experienced by Akane. And to be honest, her character interaction with Ryou would have theoretically also been fantastic without the sex in it (not that I'm complaining). All fem. characters are effing adorable and likable.

Akane's arc is very well done. Personally, I very rarely find it interesting to read a story, but in this case it was very interesting to read. Some of the characters' personalities are very cool, especially Akane. The visuals are great. Music. It's been a while since I turned on music in games like this. The musical accompaniment was chosen very well. Respect to the creators of this game, I haven't had this much fun in a game of this type for a long time. I will definitely subscribe to support developers

If you don't enjoy stories, why are you playing visual NOVLES in the first place?Akane's arc is very well done. The coomers that use this medium and demand gallery unlocks and ctrl past all the text are such a weird breed. Like porn exits if you just want lewds, and I don't just mean Irl stuff, like there's plenty of illustrations or lewd animations etc...
It's like they're children who found this first and never thought to Google what would fit their needs better.

Strange question. Do you like all the films? Are you interested in all the books and their plot? Stop thinking trivially. And to your question why do I play, the answer is extremely simple. I am looking for exactly what will be interesting to me, just like people who watch movies or read books. And in this game - I found it. The story, dialogues and characters are very interesting to me. It's funny that you took the negativity from my comment but ignored the fact that I was interested in the novel part of the game.
It was very interesting to read your thoughts. But I don’t quite understand what this had to do with what I wrote? But in general I agree with the point of view. But the truth is, there are also games that are made by ctrl c - ctr v. Where the story is uninteresting or even taken from another game. But for example, such a game can have an excellent visual part.

The main character is so cringe. I used to think only Japanese authors could reach this level, but it turns out some weeb can take it even further. It's hilarious. It's not a bad game I really like the programming and graphics so it looks great. But the MC is so cringe, it makes the story hard to follow. It's subjective, I guess.
Calm down, dude/tte, you act quite brash as if someone personally insulted your family or kicked your pet. And ignoring your overused american buzzword, no such people are not as rare as you dismissively claim if you look past the western AVN scene. There are tons of so-called "nukige" Japanese VNs with mostly the sole purpose of being fap material. Just as there are many VNs that have dark, edgy story with toned-down erotic scenes. And most Japanese VNs have 100% savegames available within the next couple of days (depending on sub-genre) for whatever it's worth. But they are obviously not reliant on patreon or so due to being made by companies, not sure about JP fan games/.
