You found the core? After buying the dagger I went full slime-slayer and didn't get the drop...
I can guess you either talk to her at the shop and might trigger a scene, if not try to sell her the item manually.

I just realised, Iris is at the magic store and I had to click the gold core to sell it, but when I tried the same error popped up, clicking ignore didn't fix it
Wait you guys have a dagger, where to buy it?
edit:found the golden core without it but can't complete the mission, after I tried to ignore the error a new dialog pop up and they talk about coming back a few days later. Tried sleep for 7 days straight and comeback at all the time possible but don't seem to advance the story
edit 2: nvm to advance the story just complete natsuki H-scence
edit3: Ignore the error after complete kaede quest allow me to advance the item shop event(the come back one) and it just the event where you came and collect the mask(past event in the story), may be I just found a bug?
perhapse something would happend fr when you correct the event number in the code?
I am having the same issue with the golden core, and am finding the new levelling mechanic troublesome at best.
It really doesn't make sense that slimes are so damn hard, even with a few levels under my belt and the gear from the blacksmith. After the story fights the MC has endured at this point, it really doesn't make sense how hard the slimes are.
Does the MC improve any by levelling up, or is it just the single skill point? I have not noticed any improvement in damage or durability by raising the stats on levelling, and putting them into HP seems like a huge waste. I think the combat/levelling system needs to be redone.
I have fought and killed all the slimes for 2 weeks of game play and still no yellow core. I have obtained the dagger from the blacksmith already.
Can anyone offer any advice/suggestions to complete this mission and get the yellow core?
I've been playing this for a little while, veeery slowly. This game is absolutely amazing. Might be my favorite game of all, even above Cosy Cafe, and that's from someone who usually doesn't like the KK engine. Somehow the dev made all characters look very good and makes excellent use of the more anime-ish expressions and quirks (like bumps on a character's head).
The humor, for me, is absolutely goated. I just played through a section with Shika and was laughing out loud.
This game is super cosy, incredibly wholesome, has some pretty decent writing and great worldbuilding, excellent characters, great visuals (for the engine) and, again, excellent humor.
