I tried using the console to add fish. But apparently failed. This is what I did.

fish += 10
fisheda.item +=10

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Thanks!

I don't know the exact code, but my guess is that "fish" isn't an item, as you don't catch "fish" when fishing. You catch fish that have letter grades attached to them. In the players inventory, they show up as "Fish A", "Fish B", and so on. Again, that may not be the exact name of the object ID as it's called "Grade A Fish" when caught but "Fish A" in the inventory. Hope that helps solve at least part of the mystery.

Thanks, but I was using instructions which definitely used to work for lower-grade fishes (I searched "cheat fish" in the thread). According to those instructions you had to add the fish first, and then assign them a category/grade.

Good as a movie and bad as a game.
I mean, there are no real choices at all. It's all about watching scenes but not playing. Yes, Goddesses' Whim is a visual novel, but it's also a game, isn't it? And as a game, it's a failure. But as a movie... I've never seen anything more cinematic in RenPy VNs.

i got the golden slime core now what to do with it? can't complete the quest at guild can't sell it to iris, getting a error while i try to sell it to her.

When did 4.2 come out?

I don't get along w the f95 search engine...lol
I looked around some for release dates but didn't really find the ones I wanted.

I'm just trying to get a feel for the frequency of updates...

For a while now, 2-3 months. The exception in 4.3 to 4.4 was the dev took a break (of a month), so it came out at just under 4 months. 4.3 was released June 21. Given the time of year, I'd suspect we're likely to see it land in January, but it's possible we get a smaller update in December.

You can use the Itch page to get the dates (see the dev log):

Well that's neat about Itch. Thank you I appreciate it a lot!

That's not bad at all for the updates. I was scanning some of the older posts and it sounded
like it might be a really long time... I'm just trying to cut back on the number of notifications
I get every time I login so didn't want posts from a forum if there was a long wait. Also I'm
too dumb to remember details of a game I played a year ago so try to avoid those.... lol

The post at the top of this thread also has the date for the last update.

Some people panicked a lot when the dev switched from 1-month timeline to 3 months but he's been pretty consistent and communicates when something happens (which iirc was just one family emergency last year). Even in the past when stuff has happened he's tried to push out small updates just so people know he's still around (like polishing up an animation or adding some story scenes). Its a very well run project
