I don't understand the combat of this game. I have level 12s 5s a 4s being one-shotted by level 2 mobs. Also, the rescue function doesn't seem to work.

That part at the mansion when one of them close the door and stay locked with John?, with Kazuma's pov you can only peep through the door, with party's pov, you can watch what they are doing inside

The only thing keeping this from being abandoned is the dev coming back to apologize and say it won't happen again(about the 3 month delay) only for it to IMMEDIATELY- as in the next day.. he goes out of contact and disappears for another 3+ months. And then it repeats. It's not a coincidence.. I don't think his heart really in it anymore.. which is unfortunate since the games animations are really good and it does a lot of cool things.. just needs some bugs worked out and regular updates up to completion and it could have grown a really strong following that attracted patrons.
Update: False alarm. 'payload.exe' is just part of the nwjs SDK, specifically verison 0.48.4 win-x64. Sorry about that.
Any explanation for the 'payload.exe' in the game files? VirusTotal and defender scans come up clean but has it listed as 'cobalt-strike_ryuk' in the comments. Seems to have been in the files for quite a few versions

The peeping hole was too small for me, so i deleted the hole and now i can see the whole scene. If someone is interested, just extract and replace at the main directory.

game.exe is being detected as a virus on my laptop and it was a bitch to delete something about *ahem* this file is a virus therefor you are not able to move it (including to the trashbin apparently) took me two hours to delete it anyways if someone knows what's going on pray tell
Sometimes your antivirus will detect a false positive, then when you tell it that the app is ok, it will change the permissions for some reason. That's what happens with Bitdefender for me sometimes. Restarting my computer will let BD release the file, then I can delete things normally. Not sure if this is your exact situation, but it sounded close enough.

I've been testing some things and If i only extract game.exe it's fine but some other file in the download is mucking things up and I've got no clue which one it is. game.exe + mystery file = game.exe being marked as a virus apparently I'm not a tech buff so I'm fairly confused
Edit: nvm it's gone back to not working probably had nothing to do with any other file just some coincidence I suppose
On the side of content, would you consider this game to have enough vanilla content to be added to my list?

not at this time, the creator did say in the beginning that he would make a non ntr route for the game (the dont take the ring option at the start) but considering xxcodedxx has been silent for months i wouldn't hold my breath
So, huge chance of making a false promise to attract more vanilla fans?
If you have a tier list of NTR games that also have vanilla routes, please send it.
