It's terrible in many ways. But first of all, the game is cruel and sadistic towards both the characters and the player. It's not clear why. It's not even a fetish, it's just violence for the sake of violence and death for the sake of death, the author obviously wanted to evoke emotions, and only evoked one - disgust. I sincerely do not understand how you can get pleasure from this, especially considering that there is very little sexual content. I just want to forget it like a bad dream.

Its more along the line that their isn't actual males, its either female or futa, at least as far as I remember, so the futas got stuck with the male pronouns since in the absence of standard males they became the males. At least that is how I think it is, they don't explain any of that in the game so you have to assume its the logic for the gender pronouns used in the game. I don't remember the sexual organ ratio for the futa, whatever they have both or only male organs but an otherwise female body. Anyhow its confusing, like most things related to this game, its a mess.

The card battle minigame is kind of a mess. Beastmen have both higher health and much higher damage. So even with numerical advantage, human cards barely hold up.
Also, it may not be so obvious at first glance, but having 5 more HP while opponent has 5 more attack is not balanced at all. Most beastman cards have a 100% chance to one-shot most opposing human cards, while humans can only throw meat into the meat grinder, because their attack is too low to really do anything.
And it's only further exacerbated by the fact that battle mechanic is a simple 1v1 headbutting. Which pretty much nullifies any advantage of higher HP, and only increases the advantage of higher attack.

Edit: Some math:
Golden Berserker with 19 attack will guaranteed kill any human card, even the Diamond Vanguard (the strongest human card). Diamond Berserker with whopping 25 attack, can mince through two Diamond Vanguards and still be alive to kill another card.
And it's not even the strongest card beastmen have. The Revenger is absolutely insane, and can singlehandedly chew through half of human card deck.

If card stats have any ties to the lore strength of the races they represent, I don't know how beastmen haven't steamrolled the entire continent centuries before protagonist spawned into existence.

The dev acknowledged this issue and added a file to replace to fix this issue.
Although to fix it for myself I had to retrigger that quest and it worked fine afterwards.

It is still not working for my Mac. It still shows empty quests. Do i remove the current one or when it asks to replace it?

And this is why that whole futanari / hermaphrodite / shemale / dickgirl being combined under one tag was being argued against a few years back, because futanari specifically refers to hermaphrodites, characters with both a dick and vagina. That's neither here nor there, but it's part of the reason why you're over-thinking this.

It's honestly really straight forward in this setting, the sapient races all look feminine (maybe the MC can be said to have an androgynous leaning female build) but have different genitals. Males have penises and only penises (otherwise why all the anal sex between male characters) and females have vaginas. This difference is considered in the setting enough to warrant different pronouns, so male characters are referred to as he/him and females she/her. Plus, anything about behaviors or self-identification doesn't help because we don't know how males and females in this setting are traditionally supposed to behave like either, not without a setting bible from the developer.

Out of the setting though, it's the developer's choice to do this, it's such a minor choice in the grand scheme of things that it's really no skin off of my back because the story is interesting enough to keep my attention.

So, what are the negative consequences for pursuing Leatrix love route? Judging from what Sheena does in other routes... she'll probably kidnap Leatrix and chop her to pieces, out of jealousy.


Edit: What in the absolute fuck is this sidequest? Retconning old events and completely rewriting an established character. What's next, gonna rewrite/retcon the entire plot so that humans are the good guys?

I cant load my saves without the WT Mod idk if it is because the Mod changes things or if the dev changes things in the base script.. i would wait for joker to update it.

It's trying to tell a story, no its not just being violent for the sake of violence what are you on about.
You played what, until chapter 1?
And saying this has very little sexual content is a diservice to the sexual content that there is here.

This is literally the epitome of "this doesn't have sex left and right, people die and stuff!"

Although not for everyone, this game isn't one that you play with one hand and that you fuck everyone in a 20 mile radius without stopping, I don't think the character development is perfect but many sex scenes are in the last current available chapters. Depending on the character you end up going for you might be going through thousands of renders before you even get to a sex scene per route.

But hey, if that still sounds "cruel and sadistic" to you, maybe the real horror isn’t in the game, it’s in trying to drag your attention span past a loading screen.
