VN - Ren'Py - Godson Remake [v0.1.95 Gold Part 2] [Cheesecake Studio]

I have no idea what is happening in this game. It starts off great, with a flashback of a gorgeous native American woman who agrees to make a porn video for the MC and his buddy. So it seems we may have a game about two dudes making porn videos. Then we find that the MC has headed off to live with a voluptuous Milf ( his godmother?) who has two strange daughters.

One of the daughters explains to the MC that tomorrow is her birthday and that the party will be "epic". The next day a few guests arrive and we quickly learn that they dislike each other. Then we cut to the Milf approaching the MC, and confessing to him that she has no money, and asks him to pay for the pizza which she just ordered ( just one pie?). For laughs, he convinces her to greet the pizza delivery man naked. This was probably the best scene in the game.

If I recall correctly, this was supposed to be the day of the "epic" party, but we cut to the next scene of the milf dressed to go to work,. She confesses to the MC that she is broke and needed to find a job to help pay the bills. What happened to the party? Where did all the guests go?

The game then makes another bizarre turn and shifts to a husband and wife arguing about their dissolving marriage. And then the game ends. Talk about your "WTF" moment?

Pros:
1- Very nice renders and characters.
2- The dev must be into feet because there were a lot of closeup renders showing feet. I love feet myself, and appreciated this.
3- The native American Milf the MC fucks on cam in the beginning of the game was gorgeous. It's a damn shame she didn't play a major role in the story.
4- The one sex scene was decent, and showed potential.

Cons:
1- The story made absolutely no sense.
2- I couldn't tell what direction the game wanted to take. Was it going to be a lighthearted romp ( "truth or dare" and naked pizza scenes), or something more mysterious, as invisible people and witches are mentioned throughout various conversations. Perhaps explaining why most of the characters were bonkers.
3- Overly wordy and the MCs dialogue options were really weak compared to the other characters.

Cute characters, but the strange story and lack of sex scenes make it not worth the time.

I like this one a lot. The female characters look amazing and so do the animations, the story seems quite interesting as well. Choices made also alter the progression in a pretty significant way which is nice. The only problem is that its incredibly short. I was hoping for a lot more.
Either way, its a strong recommend.

Man I just find this game looking for another one and wow. I thinks this game is one of best I've ever played. I can even put it in my top 6, literally this game has everything I like-the animations, women, story. It's just amazing. This game has a lot of future. I hope never gets abandoned.

TLDR: The best animations from any AVN on f95.

The fact that it is best in class automatically makes this game worth giving a try. If you compare this game to other games, it's definitely worthy of a 5 star rating. From the old version to the remake, you can clearly see how much the dev has improved.

I'm not saying it's perfect, all games have their pro's and con's. In this case a con would be the lack of impact from choices. For example you can make a choice, at most it will cut you off from a future path, but a choice never branches you out to a different story line.

But it's a minor detail compared to mistakes made in other games. So I can't really fault it for that.

But yeah, I would easily put this in my Top 5 now.

For like three times now I have tried to play this novella to the end. I tried, really, but the story and the design are so absurd I simply can't.

Technically the product is sound. There are some nice models if you are into thicc MILFs, and sex scenes are outstanding and nearly photorealistic. However, from the very few minutes of the story you have to wonder WTF is going on, and by the time you find out you have to decide if you can endure it and go on, because things get even weirder after that. I couldn't.

The MC looks stoned almost every time his face is displayed. Most MILFs walk around with those strange attires showing their legs, and while the story is funny at times (like that argument when whoever-she's-called arrives to join the party) most of the time I find it either boring or too absurd for my taste.

For me this is one of those games where I'd collect the CG and move on.

Incredible—one of the best games on the platform.

The story is still limited for now, with a classic setup: a dead father and a kid who has to move into a house full of women. There will be some unusual events, though... The atmosphere feels strange, and I even got a sense of unease in parts.

The models are amazing. They might not be for everyone, with so much detail and inconsistent realism, but way better, in my opinion, than the lazy Daz3D models I usually see. (Not sure why they made the feet so big, though—it’s creepy.)

The animations are very well done, with some nice expression and really good lighting. Choices slightly affect situations, which is a nice touch. You can either go for fun or play it serious.

I'm really curious to see where this is going.

I have to admit, this game gets to me in an odd yet right way. I know that there are people out there who might complain about the models but i have to admit, i LOOOOOOVE the way the women in this game look. I can't say enough how much i love seeing women in a vn with more meat on their bones that doesn't just come down to a fake looking big ass and tits. I love how most of the main women have skin that looks like real skin along with wrinkles and imperfections. I also gotta say how amazing the animations are. There is not alot of vns i can name where i feel like i'm watching a video or animation instead of playing a game. Some of the scenes in this game really can hit you hard with how fluid and intense they can be seeing skin and thickness move and compress with every movement. I can't say enough how grade A the visual nature of this game is. I like how slightly off the game feels (i hope its on purpose. You and the mc starts the story completely comfused and it doesn't end anytime soon.

Now for all that praise, i sadly have to talk about a few of the main things i don't like or dislike...top of which, the main character. I'm okay with the model as i haven't seen him used in a million game. My one of my biggest issue is the dialogue for the mc. The mc looks like a chill dude who is kinda going along with what is going on in the game because he seems just as confused as we are and for the most part, he does but then you get to a scenario with one of the ladies in the game and he becomes a total douchebag with the dialogue options. He proceeds to call every woman a slut or whore or disrespects them or insults them. The problem isnt that these are choices you can pick from but the fact that alot of the time, these are the only options because while most of the time you have 4 choices to pick from, alot of the time they all are a variation of the exact same thing. It's saved a little by how off everything is since you have no idea why everyone is acting the way they are but it still sucks that you have no idea if the next options you have will be decent mc or asshole mc. Another issue is alot of the time even though you have 4 choices but most of the options have the same outcome or the other character will respond the EXACT same way. Another issue is that there is far too many times where there is too much dialogue with too little "movement." Too many times where you are left hanging on the same image for far too long as nothing happens visually. I genuninely could do without the whole website subplot as well. So far though my last issue is that there isn't more of this and i can't find more games with women and animations that look as good and unique as the ones in this game...also that this game isn't done so i have to wait some more for the next update.

This game has everything my soul could ever want. Hot, yummy milfs. Bold options for action and response. Sex, which the developer doesn't skimp on to give us. Now I just hope it doesn't cause burnout for the author in the future, and he will continue to delight us with new ideas and even more content.
(And by the way the animations that the developer is so proud of are really very well done)

Unbiased review of Godson remake

Pros
- Godly Animations.
- Some of the best milfs in AVNs.
- sexual dialogue is through the roof.
- some nice audio mixing.

Cons
-Actual dialogue is trash, MC talks like he's a tiktoker kick streamer white boy trying to be 'hood'
-the way the milfs 'fall' for you it almost too easy and while porn logic is no logic at least make it worth fighting for without resorting to underhanded tactics.
-why are we even a degenerate pornstar?
-Updates are far and few between with extremely little content
-the background music is link with the sounds for a scenes so turning one down turns everything down.

In conclusion, this really has to potential to be a great game but it just has too many flaws, while i appreciate the plethora of choices some of it just doesn't align with the flow of the story, you can go from disrespecting a Li to 'hey i love you and im serious.'

There is also no gallery which is beyond me why a game with branching options chose not have one. Also for some reason everytime you cum it is just used as a black screen to load the next image which kills the whole vibe. All in all I want to give it a 2 but its got some real good qualities.

I loooove the hyperrealistic art and the scenes are spicy, even if the dialog is not anything to go crazy about. Also the dev seems motivated and ready to produce some nice content. Will be on the lookout for more!

Really, Marnie is all the reason I need to give 5 Stars.
The good:

+ twerking GILF (not something I thought I needed, but here we are)
+ the dialogues are refreshingly filthy and absurd, and you can just have a blast by bullshitting your way through conversations. No, really, it's just fun, even if it's a bit on the nose
+ the graphics are awesome
+ no sandbox!

The bad:
- no Gallery
- while the dialogues are fun, it is a little hard to find out, which route your playing (or if there even are routes?)
- the renders are great, but the colors are a bit... muted?

The story is ok. The game play is good. The atmosphere of the game is cool. But what makes this game shine, is the lewd scenes. Man, the dev did a great work on the scenes. Congrats! It deserves it's rating.

thanks cheesecake studio for this game , this is a good and unique work, i love those models they are so sexy and realistic, good animations and dialogue , the story is good even if its have a mixed with some paranormal, this is one of the best games you can find, good job dev five out five.

I like the game overall. It's right up my alley of genres I like. I like the models, especially the older/mature ones, THE MILFs. I like their designs and in my opinion, it is really appealing. Keep up the good work and I'll be waiting for your updates.

3 stars because as others have said, the models look pretty unique at a time when everything tends to be the same. But the story takes a very weird turn and there seems to be very little content for the time its been out.

I've just started playing this game and yeah it's looking good. Janice is right though, of course we would love to suck on those sexy toes. I really like the models and animations, skin texture is really good. I like that you decisions matter a lot on what will happen, it's of the few games I have replay a lot just to see if I could get new scenes. The story isn't super interesting right now but will see how unfolds. I'm exited for the future of this project, I really hope it dosent get abandoned.

Thank you for the game Godson REMAKE, YOUR GAME IS VERY FUN AND WELL CREATED, It's that type of game where you don't feel time passing, there are days when I have to control myself, because I can only play at night and if I don't take care of myself on time I go until dawn because it's so much fun. Great and well-created graphics, the MILFs in the game are hot, because they are normal and don't follow the perfect and defined stereotype that most games have, and some of them I can't wait for the MC to get more and more, because he treats them with affection and love and of course a lot of sex and the MC also has that naughty side sometimes, right.

The story is well written and contains many things that leave you in doubt and fear (but as I know there will be no netorare in the main story and I trust your word, I face and lose the fear of seeing this which affects me a lot for my bad past that hurt me a lot and left me with these traumas that I still face today) and every time I play I want more and more, I can't wait for the next updates

It was cool to see the characters slowly become attached to the MC and not like in other games where they look at him and already want him without even knowing him.

Well, I just want to thank you for a game like this, I needed to play something like this, different and cool and that doesn't have netorare, because games like this are missing, I'll follow you because I know there are a lot of good things coming from this and other games you create .

The models are hot AF, especially Marnie.

However, without a walkthrough, it will be really challenging for players to find the "right choices" to see the sex scenes.

So you can't play on your own if you want to fap. You need to follow instructions. This is my biggest complaint.

Also, you are just thrown into the story with no buildup or explanations.

EDIT: I was misled into thinking that this game had been developed for three years, but it seems that it started in 2021, then was shut down for two years and restarted as a remake about six months ago. So, this justifies the time and the amount of content. For that, I'm raising my rating from 2 to 4 stars.
