[Weekly Development Update #61] - Important Information (Patreon)
Hey yall. This might be a long post so prepare to read a bit.
First off I want to say, I hope everyone enjoyed the latest game update. This update marked a significant push towards how the game is susposed to be, the storyline, etc. Everything should be clear now on how things are progressing from here, but allow me to explain everything fully.
The Next Update [v0.2.1] - June 30th
The next coming update is going to come on June 30th. However, just in case you did not read the last dev update (we'll get to that point of "not reading" later...), I will now copy and paste exactly what I wrote there, skip this part if you already read it.
We're going to have a small game update drop on 6/30/25 as long as everything goes well. I know I said before no more small updates, but this last one took a really long time so I owe you guys one. What this update will have is:
(During the Evil Playthrough, instead of making Marnie answer the door to the Pizza Guy nude as a Succubus, there's another option to have s*x with her first. We're adding content there.)

The Next Update After [v0.2.2] - August 30th
The next update after v0.2.1, will be coming August 30th. Our goal from this point out is to release an update every 2-3 months. It's really every 2 months, but 3 months is the longest it will ever take from this point on. This is mainly due to our animator being full-time now, thanks to everyone's continued support. Our animator does crazy work, as you saw from the animations in the game, and even the last preview I just posted before this one (our own animator made that- Frisk is just part of the collab and gave us his blessing). So you can expect nothing short of amazing animations in Godson. Not to toot my own horn, but I considered myself an extreamly good 3D Artist myself, so from me personally, you can expect nothing short of amazing graphics, character design and scenes, and writing (as always).
On the subject of what will be in this update (0.2.2), it will be the introduction of every single LI available at the party. You will meet them all, there will be some animations, and that's where it'll end. The reason for this is....

The Reason For This Is.......[v0.2.3] - October 30th
The next update after, will be v0.2.3. In THIS update, it'll start you off on a screen with the MC in an Idle Animation (you may remember this from Vaporwave), and there will be Icons of each LI on the left side that you can hover over and click on. This way, you can pick and choose which LI to pursue first and in what order, at the party. Once you finish their story, you'll get kicked back to that Idle Animation screen, that person's Icon will be greyed out, and you move on to the next.
But you need to take into account.....
Yes, I know. I need to take into account that you may not "want" to pursue certain people. In that case, in every LI's route, you can choose to avoid the situation and not to through with it. This will allow you to complete their part of the party story-line without ever wasting your time. You can also just develop friendships with LI's, instead of going full "I'm trying to fuck you" route.
Player Vote
Each update, starting at v0.2.3, will feature a vote. You guys will vote on whose storyline to work on first. So each update will focus on a specific person, AKA, opening up that LI's Icon to pursue at the party. Once all the LI's are done, then it moves on to the finale of the party.
So we'll do a vote after v0.2.2 is released, so you guys can see all the LI's available first. There are quite a few available. Also, just an FYI....
Lorraine, Jennifer, Victoria and Martha will NOT be at the party.
Story-wise, I needed to make room. So in either storyline (good or bad, etc), they are all in The Otherworld.
Listen guys, we got like 8 LI's coming in right now to this party lmao. We had to push away the OGs for this (except Marnie). Don't worry, you guys got plenty of Hott MILFs, and younger 20s women coming in. So plenty of material.
I'm pretty sure when we do the vote, I know who you guys will vote for the first LI's storyline to work on (Nina?), but we'll do the vote anyway, just to keep consistency.

Q. Great update! I am concerned that the "Good" path won't have many sex scenes. As someone who prefers to form meaningful relationships and not be an asshole or someone who just wants to jump in her pants, is it possible the "Good" route will have just as much or I guess, close to the amount of sex the "Sex Addict" or "Evil" route will have? Also, what are the "Good" Godson powers?
A. Absolutely, the "Good" route will for sure have close to the amount of sex available as SA or EVIL, you will see at the party. In fact, I myself am looking forward to writing meaningful relationship dialogue and I know our animator will be happy to finally make lewd animations that aren't just someone getting their back blown out, lol. Also, the "Good" powers will be unlocked later in the game, some during the party. As you can see from this last update, the MC was NOT able to unlock mind-reading, as that is an EVIL power. So it's only unlockable if you played the EVIL route.
Q. Is it possible to maybe post in spoilers somewhere on the next game update post, just exactly where to find everything new? Like, in the patreon (or subscribestar) post? Thank you!
A. Yes, you're right. No problem, that was my mistake. I should have explained where all the new stuff was, so no one got confused. I will do that next time I post the next game update! Just for people who want the spoilers!
Q. One question, Gallery?
A. I'm still trying to figure that one out.....I know. I want to do it, but I have no idea how, coding-wise. If anyone has a guide, DM me.
Q. What's up with Marnie's eyes in the Evil route? I get why they are blue, she's a Succubus even in her normal form. But, will they stay blue?
A. No, they won't. Marnie can now (in the EVIL route), go in and out of Succubus whenever she wants. Most of the time, her eyes will be the normal dark color. You'll find this out in the next game update. Good question.
Q. Would that scene from v0.2.1 that's coming, with Marnie and having sex with her (or not), affect anything if you didn’t take it? Like presently you can’t have it of course.
A. Yes, there's a "Marnie will remember this" part in there, as well as the ability to go from Evil straight to "Good".

- New Scene with the Pizza Guy as EVIL, where you can now kick his ass. - Some of yall hate that Marnie is nude in front of the pizza guy, well now you get the chance to kick his ass, or at least let him know whos boss and to stay away from your woman (rough him up a bit).
Also, we need to get the MC and Marnie home from the Pizza Shop. - New Scene from the Pizza Shop of MC and Marnie coming home and getting ready for the party.
- New, small scene of the MC and Marnie and Mabel getting ready for the party as EVIL.

Guys i maybe misunderstood something, but the party update(2.3) Will have the icons and we'll choose which LI to go after, ok to that point, but he said that after the update 2.2, that will have an party introduction of every LI and i assume that wont have much actual sex scenes, on the 2.3 the scenes will be released one LI for update taking a time of 2-3 months between updates and having a total of 8 LI... god fucking dammit. We'll wait 1 year and 4 months~ to get out the party update wtf

This 2.1 Marnie update is taking 1 month for 3 animations, but probably It took more since this scene was planned before and some renders were already done, so, it'll be 2 months for maybe 4~ animations, and the renders, nah we're cooked

I hate to break it for the Dev But 6'5 aren't the biggest, also if you train your Body a bit. Bam you will find yourself 7 also The Models are Hot if we don't look at the Nanny one, the story Need a bit of Work Things happened so Fast Like moment we are talking about Party Next we are out of the place to work Wtf then out of no where Friend show up Know your Work place that was by the way the first day ? for you also eating Milf Ass? Looks like development is going to start to kick it up a notch that's so great to hear. This is one the ones I've had my eye on for a long time. Maybe It's time to check out the patreon cause the animations in this are very good.

Yeah probably, imo the party should have Jennifer and Martha, and introduce the rest of the LI another time, but who am i, right? If my opinion was something Succ marine would still be around
Ok i feel like we need to let succ marine go, yes we all miss her so much but we must remember that there are other much thicker and brain dead fish in the sea in this world that we will no doubt take advantage of with extreme prejudice

Ngl i think that succ marnie was the pinacle of thickness and render quality(3D) that i ever seen, and i've been around for a while, if cheesecake at least gave us the oportunity to change her back to that form

Nah, the 8 LI presented were stated to be the only LI in the game, so unless that cheesecake backdown on his word, we won't get another character, tho my point ain't getting another thick character, is getting succ marnie back cuz she's beautiful asf, face and body wise, now we got a gilf version of her. Tho ain't impossible that cheesecake goes back on his word, he said that wouldn't be changing anything on the game, but he gone back on his word and changed after he saw succ marnie rejection(traitors), so ain't impossible

Sorry for the late dev update yall, but I wanted to have this animation preview done before I posted.
So we managed to get Fluid Simulation down-packed. Shouldn't have any problems incorporating it in our future animations, like shower scenes, etc. Hope you guys appriciate the hard work!
We're still good to release this next game update on the 30th. It won't be a long update, but a nice in-between, and 3 new sex animations with Marnie, including this cum one.
My goal with Godson in a nutshell is to create a fun and engaging adult game. Again, this is an ADULT game, SEX is always the main focus, but creating a fun and interesting story is equally as important - as is a story that you have control of, playing how you want.
Anyway, just a quick dev update. I'll get pin-ups out if I can, but our focus is to get you guys this next version out by the 30th so that is what I'm committed to. Thank you to everyone who is supporting what we do here, and it's thanks to you that we can keep creating and working on Godson, so thank you again!
