Also what about the plot? How does NTR fit into a game about a ‘Dominant Mind Reading Wizard?’ Unless it’s Netori, but even then Netori might as well be considered Vanilla nowadays. I don't get why the dev is calling it NTR is not like the MC has been in a long term relationship with the main girls right? Unless im missing some story which theres barely like 2 days in the game and from what im reading calling it a cuck route sounds more fitting since your paying more, knowingly allowing it to happen and enjoying it lol. He should focus on one path the evil one since those has the best scenes and make non canon "bad endings" scenes like power vaccum if he really wants to please his cuck part of his fan base

Non-canon NTR scenes will require even more time to create. Why?
The characters are portrayed as airheads. Most of them are loose women who have been described as having a habit of sleeping around on a whim. These characters are loyal to no one, not even their NTR partners.
Unless the developer overlooks their own character's description to create separate NTR paths, like in those "optional NTR" games where, once you go down that path, there's no turning back.
Here, NTR functions more like a simple "yes or no" switch, lacking any emotional investment.

So the developer hired another member to the team for the NTR animation and renders totaling to 3 people working on the game 2 people for main and 1 person for NTR so that would explain why they made the decision

Everyone loses their minds every time NTR is mentioned. As long as it is optional or can be disabled by me, it will be well received. They don't get tired of the same absurd fight between NTR and Vanilla.

Dude what? most people were annoyed because they thought this meant that a game that in 3 years is basically still at the beginning and that has been rebooted twice would now take even longer developing because of the addition of an unnecessary side game dedicated to the 30% of people that wanted some cuck shit.

Still doesn't disprove his point. After 2 remakes we are still absolutely nowhere. Still haven't gotten the party update. But hey let's add something that the majority voted against anyway to slow up development time. And even if his past projects has had NTR, then one would think this one would've had it in this one at the start. Nah this guy is just chasing every penny that's why he's appeasing the 30%. The real conundrum is how much will this slow down development time. You can't really defend someone who's constantly stepping on their own toes.
