There are certain times when you can't interact with the characters during downtime, Scrying on them during those times tends to give a scene.

I take it the tutorial hasn't yet added flashing lights and a "CLICK HERE! (if you want to)" sign to the auto-play new events button. That should probably be a priority for the next update/hotfix, with how often it comes up.
Wait, how did Enkindle used to work? The description seems the same from what I recall. I tried to boot up version 8.3 to check, but, uh... The game does NOT like trying to load 9.0 metaprogress into 8.3.

"Acts like it's frozen" or "is frozen"? And are you playing the game for the first time or returning from a previous version? I had the game freeze on that screen when I tried to play version 8.3 after having played 9.0, presumably because the game tried to load a metaprogress file that it couldn't understand.
If you check the character notes in the research log, you can see hints on most of the camp interactions with the knights. There's also plenty of adult content in the dungeon itself, even if it's not outright sex. Make sure you've opened the tab on the left and click "auto-play new events" on the bottom, and you can also re-watch scenes you've seen (or missed) before by researching the monsters or traps in the research log, which doubles as a scene gallery.

In the current version, the erotic dungeon content is mostly just "sexy shenanigans" (e.g. getting a succubus's butt shoved into the character's face or puppeted into masturbating by a pair of marionette hands), but the knights will have sex with each other or the protagonist back at camp. The protagonist has a mind control power that he/she can use to help "fix" the curses that the knights acquire while they're in the dungeon, but it can also be used to manipulate the knights and take advantage of them, including twisting some of the curses to benefit the protagonist. You can check the knights' character pages in the research log to see hints for most of their scenes and rewatch any that you've seen before.
I'm not sure what you're asking, but the above response might answer your question as well.

See I know this suggestion doesn't come from a bad place, but I don't think "stop and make an entirely different game" is as solid a plan as you're suggesting it is.
Target Marked should be a tradeoff in some cases but generally a dps increase, but I realize the text for it might be unclear. The damage reduction only applies if the monster IS NOT marked, so at rank 1 your first attack will do 80% base and your second attack will do 125%. Rank 2: 90% and 125%.
Revenge Journal is more of a funny idea than it is probably useful. Several corrupt skills are like that.

I have ideas for other exclusive skills, but I didn't get the mechanics behind Raine or Elli's working in time.
I've also had a Leadership skill for Lucette
kicking around in my head for months but there's like a million different ideas for what it would actually do and I haven't settled on it.

If the discussion of 4chan is anything to go by, the girls don't get fucked by the monster/traps enough.
(I generally agree, but content takes a while and I'm STILL more focused on gameplay stuff than making a whole bunch of content that will end up having to get any associated mechanics refitted after updates later)
Knights are more likely to sex each other if they have Lust damage still, have high current desires for pleasure and high current desires for community.
Also having an issue with the adult content warning. Pressing enter makes a page turning sound? But other than that nothing seems to work. The sound is working so it's not totally frozen, just not moving from the warning.

Sounds like something is interrupting the fade out of the content warning screen somehow? Strange. To double check, does it fade out properly if you just press NOTHING after starting up? It is set to go away automatically via a timer if you don't press anything (however much time it takes for godot to load + 8 seconds that I put in there).
I think what they were getting at is that it doesn't synergize well with other skills because most of those other skills give a damage bonus to your first attack and not on any subsequent ones. So, for instance, what they would want is to have a target be Marked ahead of time and then further multiply that bonus with First Strike, rather than reducing the damage from First Strike and then getting a bonus on the second hit.
Of course, this kind of thing is exactly why I don't like paying too close attention to balance to begin with. There always ends up being some "meta" that favors min/maxing everything around one-shotting the enemy, or something like that. Though perhaps one way to keep things from spiraling too far out of control (if it doesn't work this way already) is to make the bonuses additive instead of multiplicative. For instance, if First Strike adds +25% damage (or whatever the number is) and Target Marked has -10% damage, the net result would be 115% of the base damage instead of... [Checks math] ...112.5%. Not a big difference there, I guess, but this would also prevent exponential increases from different bonuses making them far more effective than they should be. But this is all from someone who hates talking about balance, so, grain of salt.

Ironically, I think I've seen more Roguelike (gameplay genre) than Rogue-lite (progression system) games on this site, despite the latter being vastly more common in the modern gaming scene. Although my sample size is, like, three. Probably because all anyone tries to make here are visual novels, but I've always wanted to prove a point by seeing someone make a Rogue-lite visual novel (the point being that a progression system can be attached to literally *any* gameplay genre, even one that barely counts as "gameplay").
Not looking forward to this game becoming the kind of thing 4chan would approve of, but I suppose it's inevitable. Le sigh. I actually really like how it currently flips the cliche around and basically makes you the one who's cucking the dungeon and stealing its would-be victims. (And hopefully eventually stealing the victims it's already claimed.)

It might also help if you tried it with an older version, to see if this is a newly introduced bug or just one that people haven't pointed out until now. I don't know where to find a link to an older version, though, since most of them have been updated with the newest version... I could attach a file to this post if it allows 400MB, but maybe the dev can just share a Mega link to ease the strain on the servers.

... after unmuting my speakers i discovered the music is still playing but it wont progress i also nuked the save data in the roaming godot appuserdata and restarted same thing last version played was alpha 6 because i forgot to put notifications on this thread did that version save to a diffrent directory?
Sounds like you're having the same problem that Runesco has, which probably isn't a save data issue since it didn't actually freeze up. Apparently the issue is just that the startup splash screen isn't going away and is blocking all other visuals, although it works fine for me. What operating system are you using? Nothing significant has changed since you played Alpha 6, and it still works normally if you open that version, right? That might at least confirm that it's something new to the current version.

yup alpha 6 works just fine as for os its win 10 pro diddnt really have a choice on that came with a REALLY nice computer i got as a gift.

This may be a bit of a stretch (haha pun) but I had somebody pop into my discord yesterday that was having title screen stretching problems (though it was after the disclaimer screen). The solution there was just giving him an override to change his resolution, and I've realized that I didn't revert the game settings to start 1280x720 windowed in this release (though why that would be a problem I'm not sure). I have a couple of override files here that you may be able to try and see if it changes anything to launch in 1920x1080 fullscreen or 1280x720 windowed.
If you can, just stick whichever override.cfg you're trying in the same folder as the exe and check if it's something with the resolution.

For more ordinary-sized penises, Female 6 (in case I'm counting wrong, eyepatch lady) I would say is the most conventional to be largest but she's also the least inquisitorial and more knightly. Female 1 (flowers and bowtie) would probably be the smallest and bullied/bottom, perhaps taking this chance to flip that.
I can only give you my impressions of size though, everyone else is probably somewhere around average (although with hentai, I don't think "average" sized penises seem to exist, only small, big, or too big).
In terms of my favorite to be futa? Female 2 (bangs covering one eye) - she looks the part of both book-smart inquisitor and behind-the-scenes manipulator, as well as having that vibe of mischievous energy in the bedroom (I really liked how well it fits with the choices to play along coolly with Elli's games). Oh, and doesn't look underage.
Female 5 has that small smirk, but otherwise looks like a generic protagonist from a JP eroge (just remove the eyes and colour her hair black) so no points.
