VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Going Rogue [Ch.7 Deluxe] [Ker]

It's pretty good. Decent story with attractive girls.
But I think the story is too short. After finished the Ch6, I even thought it's only the 1/3 of the whole story. Will there be a Season 2?
Most girls are attractive enough, except Ada, too small tits ruined her perfect body.
Gameplay also interesting. But I don't think the QTE part is necessary.
Anyway, a solid 7.5/10 I think.

Good game although the ending feels too rushed for my liking. In the first chapters it seemed that the story was going to be much longer than it was. In the end it felt like a glass half full, it seemed as if the developer had lost interest halfway through the development of his ideas.

Simply for the fact that I liked the girls very much, the multiple meaningful choices and that this is actually a finished product with an ending, despite feeling a little rushed, I give it 5 stars. I was left satisfied which is something not a lot VN can do, since many end up not finished.

the game started off well and you honestly hope it went longer but it seems after chapter 4 everything just felt rushed. the choices are not great and that ending is horrible. seems they also dropped ntr and only affects 1 girl.

First of all Congratulations to the Dev on successfully completing the game. I add a further Half Star for that. Having said that the ending does seem rushed which kinda stops the game from the good territory. I liked the game and it was developing nicely story wise & interesting variants of LI with more than acceptable sex.

Alright first off great models and different types though the proportions do seem to be equal. Definitely no complaints about the sexiness of the models.

Sex Scenes: 4/5
Good scenes & most importantly there are lots placed frequently. The renders are good & there are options but thoser are just for players tastes.

Story: 3/5
The story was progressing nicely and I think there was genuine intrigue in the story & character development. I am disappointed that the story seemed rushed to an ending and that is why the avg score.

Replayability: 1/5
The game doesn't encourage replay as the story is fixed and there is not any branching paths . However this is not that type of game so that is acceptable.

Overall:
Its a good game to play and you won't be bored. But its not a game you will come back to. But it is worth a play through and Dev deserves credit for a credible game.

This is one of the best VN games I've ever played. A very realistic criminal story with a lot of meaningful choices which often happen to be a very difficult moral decisions with tragic consequences.
It's not like other games where the only important choices are which girl you are interested in, though you can decide it here too of course.
There's a romance and quite a lot of sex in the game but they are a background for the main story not the main story themselves.
I wish the game was longer or there was a sequel. However there are yet a few paths I'm going to try yet.

Porn with story.

The girls are good looking and the (rare currently) sex scenes are okay.
The pacing is weird, because sex/love(or whatever is between MC and Zoe) is too fast, too soon, underdevelopped but at the same time the story moves on.

I expected more content for each chapter but got only 30'-1h for each of those.

So all in all, not a bad game but it will need a LOT more time to become something interesting. It can evolve from here to a 2 star game, remain the same or up its game. It will depend on the next steps in the story and relationships.

This is a poorly written rip-off of The Departed. And when I say poorly written, I'm mean both Engrish and shallow.

Animations are uninspired, nothing to get excited about.

I played for a while but I just couldn't get interested and had to drop this.

I've played chapter 5; this game has moved right to the top of my list of games. The MC has an overwhelming amount of sex thrown at him, but hey it's an adult VN. As for the main story itself, I like it! Hopefully, the developer stays true and keeps it fun.

The game is really excellent regardless of the scenes, the connections you have with the characters is spectacular and everything that happens in the narrative is taken slowly, it does not rush the events that makes you become fond of the different characters

The game has a lot going on for it. There is mutliple C&C that leads to branching pathes and different scenes. The story is intriguing, and reminds of the Departed. Renders are of a nice quality. Overall, a good game with different branching narrative depending on the players choices.

Good Points
+ Female character models, interior and exterior designs look well-detailed for sure and their visual quality is pretty good as well.
+ We have animations for sex scenes.

Bad Points
- When we start playing DEV tells us: ''In this game your choices matter. The story will develop differently depending on how you play.'' and it's a big lie. Honestly, I played too many games, and whenever I saw these words in any game beginning I know in that game my choices not gonna matter at all. The biggest example is no matter what your choice you are being forced to punch that guy and you gotta went undercover forcefully. And I could even understand if it was just for a prologue but he is always forced to do things for others. So, then where is my ''differently developed story depending on my choices''?
- Story itself actually have potential but story-telling annoying AF especially with how things forced you as an MC and you having zero choices about it.
- Miranda's character is good enough for writing as a bad point... She is annoying and hypocritical AF.
- Our UI, HUD, and fonts look kind of cheap, basic, and bad. I'm not saying we need some expensive high-end things but the game should have at least average and classic Renpy UI and HUD for starters and don't look like this cheap.
- While most of the visual part looks good we can't say the same for our main character, he looks as plain as a basic NPC, and even in the scene MC sitting with a guy I was literally thinking the other guy is MC and even another guy was looking more like MC he was still plain... So you can guess how bad our MC look is and it's not doing wonders with good-looking female models...
- Animations need to improve for their physics, FPS value and Women's expressions (Esplacily Miranda was looking like death, her eyes were like she is frozen or something and it was weird. More lively look in the eyes and better movements needed) while having sex. And not all of them but some animations have weird bugs like clothes going inside their body while moving etc, DEV should test them before releasing and avoid this type of odd bugs.
- Some sex scenes are not animated like Cindy's first sex scene.

For The End
It feels like have potential but the current game we have is pretty much poor. If DEV did a good job with the next updates and fix bad points I told then we could see a 4-5 star rate great game. If this was a new game I would understand things being kind of messy and would give 3 stars instead but with the current development time I'm gonna give 2 stars and hope DEV will fix things with the next updates.

This game is frustrating because it is one I really should like, but I guess I am too much of a deviant. Full disclosure, I like playing a good guy, but I also like playing a bad guy if it's the right role, and this one checks all the boxes. I also like some NTR... not always, but typically don't mind it.

So... the good. Renders are decent and the women are attractive. Grace is an unusual and unique character that keeps the story interesting for me. The writing is solid and I didn't really have any comprehension challenges.

The problem for me is the lack of choices. There are a number of them, but they are all similar. If you want to go full rogue, it won't happen, and I wanted to go full rogue. If you don't want to hit the other cop at the beginning, too bad. If you want to tell your former partner to fuck off, you can't. If you want to tell the MC's Captain she's a bitch and to back off, you can't do that either... she still comes on to you.

It all goes back to the premise... which is a little silly. It's hard for me to believe that someone who worked as hard as the MC would just suddenly snap and punch someone at the bar over someone he just met. I won't even mention him kissing his partner after just one day on the job. I mean... what? IDK... It's funny to me that all the cops, to me anyway, are totally unbelievable and yet I can buy the criminals.

I think that is the thing for me... Grace is an original, well written character and yet it seems the dev just mailed it in on the others. The MC's captain is a joke and his former partner is useless.

I still have hopes for this and will stick around and check out the later releases, but for now, between some of the continuity errors and the lack of any real choices, I can only give it 3 stars.

The entire package is nice.

The story actually pulled me in, and I enjoyed reading it. The renders are decent, animations are o.k.
The one thing missing is that the sex scenes are quite uninteresting. They are not bad, just passionless, I got a by-the-numbers feeling from them.

That being said, if you like the story of Sleeping Dogs, this game has enough to pull you in, and good potential.

So, I was looking specifically for a game that contains ntr. For me good ntr is first and foremost a process, it contains choices that result in believable outcomes. Secondly, good ntr happens as the result of a story that is not centered around the ntr outcome. It's basically fallout, the loss of trust, it's the punishment for being a dick, being too much of a nice guy or neglecting what is important in life. Third, it makes these choices attractive so that you don't have to force the outcome but feel that "it makes sense to take that risk right now". Going Rogue offers all that is necessary to pull ntr off, it got a believable and compelling story, interesting characters with which you can build intimate relationships, lots of tension and moral dilemma that is difficult to solve on your own. Everything that is required of both a great ntr experience but also an outstanding AVN in general.

PROS -
Decent renders and some good looking female characters but most lack personality .
CONS -
Story is kind of parody? copy of a movie or tv series and it lacks originality and it feels boring to play .
Writing is meh and choices feels dull . Main character is not interesting to play .
Useless point and click gameplay .
2 stars - 1 for the renders and the girls apart from it the game story and writing needs some improvements but it is terrible at this a stage .

Version played : Ch.4

Game says choices matter - but there was no player agency in the "first real" choice and it was done so poorly.

Spoilers for the first ~10 minutes incoming.

You are given 2 POVs at the start ; MC and some random bad guy named James. The MC isn't present but James' vile plot of provoking our MC to punch him is showed to us, the player, and our MC doesn't know about it. Fast forward, James provokes our MC, and instead of actually being able to choose how to respond, is, essentially forced to punch him - and that's where I stopped playing.

I was promised impact but I got railroaded into a sequence of events. Being given that other POV makes it even worse.

It would've been much better if:

1) We didn't see the other POV
2) Weren't given false choices or the situation was presented better
3) Author actually wrote and planned for a way to progress the plot if I CHOSE differently (and there was no choice).

So I can't comment on the entirety of the current release, but based on what I played it's not good at all, the renders looked good tho, music was generic.

Overall a fantastic game in my opinion.

While its pacing may seem off at times (especially so at the beginning), the story, characters and visuals more than make up for its shortcomings. The characters seemingly have realistic and believable motivations behind their actions and the whole undercover story without a doubt does have a certain intrigue to it. Not to mention, the choices have a real impact on the story as well and aren't just there for namesake.

Paired up with the visuals which keep getting better over the duration of the VN, it definitely has the potential to be something really great and as a result, I'm looking forward to see what comes next for the VN.

I really love it.

All characters are kinda interesting with their own agenda and problems to be solved.
The female character models are well to my liking and the overall plot is interesting.
Not too many games out there where I don't use the skip-button on occasion

Don't let yourself be swayed by whiners regarding game content, I like where the game is going and when you stay true to your interests and add whatever you like yourself it will stay a great game for sure
