All these games on Steam get heavily criticized for stuff like this. And on Steam, you pay once and get free updates from there. It’s not the same as having people anxiously waiting on Patreon, getting basically nothing in return. Sure, there’s a lot of pirated stuff on F95, but I have supported devs through this site — devs who do have a real project, with a business vision and actual intent to finish.

Then, of course, there’s the classic “family issues” or “personal problems” card, which you can use to pause your project in front of your backers without anyone being allowed to question it. But that’s another issue.

Even if people laugh at you for speaking out — don’t stop trying to make the world better, and don’t let others take advantage of people.

Making the world better ? What in the 2016 sjw are you on about ?

It's a fucking porn game. With willing horny fuckos giving TIPS and REWARDS for a piece of something they find enjoyable.

This a free fucking market cause people sub and unsub all the time. You can always see the amount of patrons and deduce one's success. And there are sites that monitor the potential income provided by patrons as well.

This shit gives more power and ability to interact with whatever the hell one wants out of their will. If I decided to put a fiver on a guy's table every month as a tip for a product I definitely enjoy and sometimes replay, that's just my taste.

The problem is when people do that without any financial regard. Like if say one dumass barely makes ends meet and slaps a 50 bucks sub on a fucking porn game, then yeah he's being taken advantage off... By his own fucking stupidity.

Why do you think there are creators with thousands of sub while their game is on Steam too, who rake in millions ? They definitely don't need thaaaat much to make the damn thing. But people give them their regards, thanks of whatever. Financial stupidity is another case and is a worldwide issue that is not tethered to porn ma guy when you have people would rather buy Gucci and fucking sneakers then invest in one's future, in comparison that's nothing.

Patrons are big boys. They see what in their opinion is bad - they unsub. Simple. They do what they want with their money, don't bother lecturing them, especially here where people are most aware of the situation and the rest are just moaning for the sake of moaning cause "I no pay but when update?".

You wanna moan about actual scams and corruption? Do that on subjects that actually matter buddy, go biiiiig :D fyi Larry Fink was recently made the cochairman of a world economic forum - big big scam.

But this.. this is just some guy with communication issues slowly making a product.

But it’s the same thing if a patron wants to kiss the devs ass why do it here? Do it on Patreon where they will actually see it. When they do it here it comes off as looking like a bot for the dev or straight spamming or trolling us, this is mostly meant for the awam thread but it can relate to any of them really

Hahaha, because even though this is a website for degenerates, it’s also a forum with people you can talk about and share opinions with. You're absolutely right — it's a pathetic topic and I should be fighting for more important causes, and I do try.

But the reality of this site is that a large number of users are underage. A friend of mine recently had issues with his son after discovering he was spending money on this. It's not the end of the world — it’s not theft or a crime — but still, we don’t really know how many people on here have a tendency to spend money they don’t have, or that isn’t even theirs.

It just makes me sick to see certain practices in this little, infamous corner of the world. It may be small, but it does move something. I made a comment about it — without naming anyone — just to share my view. And seeing people not only spending their money, but also encouraging others to spend on the same failed product really pissed me off.

But hey, you’re right — there are more important things, and everything’s already been said, so there’s no need to keep pushing it.

Thanks — it's literally just like you said, it's crazy. I don't think they're all bot accounts, honestly. You’d have to be seriously unhinged and have way too much free time for that. It's just toxic people who feel scammed and want you to fall for it too so they can feel better about themselves, honestly.

And the developers also know that their games get a lot of visibility here, and that there are many, many users under 21 who are easier to mislead. If on top of that there are users promoting their stuff, then yeah — it’s a real problem.

On Patreon they don't say anything because those people are already paying — what’s there to say? In fact, that’s where they get criticized the most if the dev does something people don’t like.

I think that is just laziness on the part of molly to not put any news at least. i get it he is working part-time on the game and alone, and takes time for updates, and that's ok. Surely he can get 5 minutes out of his life in a week to give some news, like what's the status and all. rather than keeping everyone in the dark for like months. i'am waiting to bust anut since last year lol

If I give a specific update date, such as a day in September or October. So it will bring pressure to my own content creation, because there will always be various situations that happen. So, No promise. Surprises cannot be predicted, can they?

I'm a bit late to the party but I'm sure noone will mind a bit of yapping. Anyways I think you probably have met people like that face to face. People on this site and patreon aren't from another planet, they could be your neighbours, colleagues or whatever, figuratively speaking. Of course it's comforting to think everyones an NPC but you have to be realistic you think people will go around advertising they're subbed to whatever porn game or onlyfans? No they'll go around saying whoever does that shit is pathetic and pat themselves on the back.
Anyways back to the scheduled programming: update when?
