I'm surprised he hasn't started hashing passwords to enable "play", or using Patreon authentication integration (or a combination) as anti-piracy. Mind you both methods can still be defeated (SHA1 and SHA2 have open source reverse lookup tools readily available), but to quote Gabe Newell:

Also, apparently a roadmap had been added since I last read this thread... I think we'll be waiting for a long time before seeing the main story and characters develop in any meaningful capacity.

Also, I'm glad that the update finaly came, I was checking this thread at least once a month. Hope the production cycle won't get even longer...
