Don't know if anyone remembers second happiness, but back in the day, Vnorth did the same thing. Watermarks on his updates to know who was the leaker. I sent the link to Sam who always managed to remove them before sharing in public. I don't know how he did it though. BTW, it's been ages I didn't see him online.

Finally, the pregnancy system is in. I hope it will still allow you or your dad to impregnate the girls, if you choose. I like that the demon doesn't care who impregnates the girls, he just wants it done.
I support your comment, hopefully more devs will introduce the pregnancy tag in their games.

If the release is like they did it last time, they watermark the release to know who leaks it. So probably won't see it unless the person who removed the watermarks does it again.
That is really scummy thing to do by developer. Treating your highest tier partrons like a criminals by default.
If sometimes devs will figure out how to automate watermarking for all tiers we might need a tool to remove it automatically.
Also his Patreon prices looks insane, 29 euro for 30 days delayed access? I hope he lost more supporters by this bullshit, than gained form being so anal about piracy.

Perfectly reasonable thing to do. And it is smart, gets rid of the leaker no fuss no muss.

not really. it takes about 1 minutes or less to create a google account. If you know about the 30 day rule, create one 30 days beforehand. Sign up for patreon account with your new account. get the game, leak it, he bans your alt.

you can do this every time there's going to be an update.

Nothing is 100% effective. But it does get the lazy pirates. Someone that really wants to go through the trouble you'll never stop. Just like no lock is unpickable or undefeatable.

Lmao at that 30 day time limit. In order to mildly slow down piracy, the dev destroys his biggest spike in customers, which is the group of players who tries to get the latest update immediately upon release.

So you really think it's smart to block potential paying customers for 30 days just so no leakes would happen? Wonder how many people looked at this shit on his page and straight up closed it.

I guess you haven't heard Gabe Newell toughts on piracy and main reason being worse service, than downloading the game for free. Most people won't even give a fuck to pay for something delivered in 30 days, especially if its digital.

So let's say I become a Patreon today, I still can't access the game until a month later??
Nope. It's why I didn't end up getting the last release. My financial situation doesn't allow me to commit to Patreons outside a month here and there during a release, so I couldn't justify paying for a month of literal nothing just for the right to spend money again to finally access what I'm after. I may as well wait.

I feel you. Imo the dev is taking things a step too far with this. Especially since the game updates once every year.
