There are 5 tiers on his Patreon the first one is free, the other four are charged monthly from 5.5€ for the cheapest to 31€ for the most expensive.
I assume that the one who pays €5.50 has to wait 30 days and pay again next month, for those who pay €10.50 he announces that there will be no waiting. If the game does not leak, everyone who pays €5.50 will get bonus scenes, within a month or once who knows when. So, since 10.50 is less than 11, it is better to pay 10.50 and get the game immediately as soon as it comes out, than to pay 11=2x5.5 and get the game in 30 days. However, the rule still stands (30 days for new patrons)
for all tiers because that is written on Patreon, still as I write this. I hope he will respect what he wrote in this post which was published on Patreon, since Patroen does not like false advertising, and a contract is a contract is a contract. :HideThePain:

My recollection of this rule was that for any tier 1-5, if you were a new subscriber, you’d have to wait a month/pay double in an effort to avoid leaks. Tiers 1-5 differ in when they get access to the new release by weeks iirc. If you were newly subscribed in any tier tho, even tier 5, you’d have to wait a month before you’d get access tho. This weird rule did not apply to returning subs. From everything we’ve seen so far, Dr. Molly is saying that this rule no longer applies and that if the game doesn’t leak, he will do another mini-update with additional scenes for some characters (can’t remember who). That 2nd part seems hard to believe happening tho, as come on, one of most anticipated game on this site getting an update and NOT leaking before public release is impossible lmao.

Yea from what I remember it didn't matter which tier you subbed to, if you were a new sub you would have to wait a month to get access to the update. It's the fucking dumbest thing ever. The updates ended up getting leaked anyway and he probably pushed away a lot of people that would otherwise sub to him.

yeah, when I supported with my payment I would have let it run for a few months as I really do like what he is doing, but not like this, once I found out about that rule I was like 'hell nah dude' I can blue ball myself another few days before the leak comes out anyway, or in the worst case I have to jump back onto the wife for once !

again, much respect for his work, but the marketing isn't the topic where he uses his peanut brain!

That's all well and good .. but I just wish there were regular updates

Yea it sucks because the quality of his work is actually very good, but he shot himself in the foot by having such a stupid rule. Every successful game on this forum gets leaked almost immediately.

I’m hoping that he removes that rule regardless of what happens. I think it would be better to just tank it. I remember Gruboop tried to do something similar and started charging $20+ USD for his game early on after having a bad experience with leaks. But now he seemingly doesn’t care and has had a steady stream of income according graphtreon (stays around 300+ paid subscribers, around $1000 USD/monthly). It could of course be better for Gruboop, but that’s not chump change. For Molly, staying consistent and letting people access your game, especially if they pay for it, would most likely be the best route in the long term, especially with updates coming out so infrequently.
