why do porn devs take so long to update? Is it because theyre milking patreon? (taking so long so people stay subscribed curious about sneaks and such), or is it genuinely that hard to code and animate the scenes and such. these devs make it seem like theyre coding the next big triple A open world game, when in reality its just a visual novel porn game. Idk maybe im being ignorant

It's not about being hard, it's more about being time consuming. Coding is probably the quickest part. The renders and animations just take a long ass time to create, and it really depends on the hardware you have.
