News.

Good news and bad news.
Good news are dev build is next week for DEVs test, not T5. It's just mostly my shitty coding to test it out before i'll add it to the rest of the Diana's scenes. Another good news is I love you.
That's it.

Jokes aside I tried to explaind in Discord what the heck i'm trying to do. And... i think it's done? Kinda. It's turned out not as compicated as i wanted to do, but good enough to start with without breaking the code later. Worth it.
If everyting is alright, i'll just add some dialogues here and there, set some missed renders.
Then translation. And T5 test with everyting inside.

I'm usually starting the poll for the next update before the release, but 0.7 is going to be a patch(?). There some scenes that I didn't yet finished, so i will add em all there togeher with some coding. Also I forgot to add changes to harem scenes with new type of relationship with Diana/MC/Felix, so it's also gonna be there.

He does put out updates — but yeah, it takes a lot of time.

Compared to other devs like the ones behind Eternum, BAD, Ripples, Summer Heat, or Desert Stalker, Golden Mean is more about sheer content. Tons of it. The story doesn't really go anywhere — it’s more like background flavor than actual plot progression.

So game appeared here 2 years 10 months ago, so 2 years and 2 months till 0.5 version and now 8,5 monts(so far) for 0.6 version. Interesting.

To be honest, idk if this is his only income or not, but the guy only has 289 members on Patreon, I doubt he's pulling ridiculous numbers.
Some of you guys act like all the devs here have DarkCookie's numbers and milking power.

I even find the gap between updates okay compared to other AVNs with SIGNIFICANTLY more subscribers. Just look at what is potentially the "biggest" AVN, where we're soon approaching a 1.5-year gap between updates without any significant improvements, even though there's money to speed things up. But greed kicks in there because they don't want to share money with employees. It's sold to you as "This is my art and I'm not letting anyone else touch it."

In that regard, I'm even okay with the dev here because at least he shows humor and labels himself as lazy.
