It's ok dont worry for grammar mistakes, english is not my first language.
I disagree with this being "the new reality" statement, simply because I doubt in this site we have people from one country, I am from Europe, also because the internet world is different from the real world. And tbh internet has ruined this generation creating lots of insecurities, especially men have lots of insecurities and unfortunately porn (real porn I would say not some 3d cartoons with ridiculous large penises) has done this damage. I agree with the people wanting to always be perfect tho, we always wanted to be perfect.
I am a woman actually and tbh I prefer handsome young guys, I don't care if he is rich (maybe because I am working myself), or whatever, I personally look at his personality, I am close to late 30s and my husband and I are actually very happy, we very honest with each other on what we like and trust each other, trust is very rare nowdays (always was actually).
Now regarding the obvious you said about the rich ugly men, I hate to say it but it has to do with men and "patriarchy" still in our society, as a result, the young guys get insecurities, a young man for many years on our societies has to provide or else he is a "loser" he is a "nothing", a woman wouldnt being received as one. That's a lot of weight for men especially young boys, its easier for women for sure, of course now it changes, although its still there. I mean we are animals, and on humans, males is the dominant gender and was for many years, there is your answer, just like with animals the males fight with each other for who is dominant, that's why we see ugly men being with hot women, if females were the dominant gender, we would see the opposite, ugly rich women being with hot men. Of course the western world has changed, and thats why the old ugly rich woman being with young guys on the western world is a thing, although rare (and maybe some asian countries, very few of course). Because now we changing to men and women having some form of equality, the thing we call civilization changes, and demand changes too without a doubt. This is why I disagree with the statement of "the new reality", cause it was always like that, ever since civilization was like that, men were dominanting against other men, but also I disagreed because the internet and the real world are different actually.
Sorry for this long comment but I am sure my comment like you said hit some interest for convo just like yours did.
In this site, which I understand is not woman friendly on what we want and like, I find like few good games that were expected to be on my tastes to be honest.
