As far as Tracing photos goes, ever heard of Greg Land?

Glad someone mentioned this because I was going to. What makes it even more egregious is that the comics community I used to follow all pretty much agreed that Land actually had talent, and that when he makes the effort, he really can draw. But since he doesn't "want to do the work" anymore (their thinking, not necessarily mine) he just traces over other things, sometimes even tracing over his own work so he doesn't have to do it again.

Hence the accusations of every single female character Land ever drew having "pornface," because, well, that's what he used as source material.

Yes, ok, maybe tracing someone else's work (or even over your own) does require some measure of skill, but it's still taking a shortcut. It might be a necessary shortcut in something like this where the primary developer may not actually be able to create the required art assets without having to use some kind of "crutch," but it should at least be acknowledged that it is a crutch.

Why is it important to know it's a crutch? I mean we are talking about a game that produces way more drawn art content than most creators precisely because the method is so much faster. It has one of the most complex branching narratives around because of that. I'd rather have tons creators imitating this art production method instead of more porn images and gifs everywhere.

Shortcuts are a great thing when your job is to deliver quantity as well as quality. There is always an acceptable level of corner cutting if the final result is good enough in the end. GGGB is way, way above that threshold in my opinion.

GGGB's art was never the game's selling point and focus though. It was always the branching storyline and consistent update timetable. So taking a shortcut in this case would be shoehorning the player into a couple of routes after the game became too complex, which isn't the case at all. In fact the dev overdelivered on all of the initial promises. For now there's no other VN with so much replayability. I think Eva Kiss acknowledged the criticism, so there should be some level of improvement for the next project, as seen in the one screenshot posted.

- asking all the questions when going to her place for the first time
- refusing to blow her client
- using the 'good' choice when she has the jerk client)

Ah, Jessica is complicated.

it's actually pretty easy, you just have to break up with eric and never ever start another relationship with anyone untill you can reciprocate jessicas feelings.
for that jessica needs to be good and when you visit her you need to initiate a kiss with her (being good yourself probably helps too). other than that you can fool around with everyone.

Basically you gotta reform Jessica, which is easier to do as Good Ash.

Because of the myriad branching paths and options, it is very hard to make a step-by-step walkthrough unless you know exactly what (one) thing you want to achieve. And even then there are many options that you could do on the side but might not want to, and they would also require setting up many scenes before they happen... etc.

Anyway, I did once make a step-by-step guide for one possible Jessica relationship path when I was bored. Maybe it helps you.

before you keep asking, i made a save for you (and because i wanted to try a slutty good girl with jessica ending).
f95 renames the file, so you have to rename it yourself something like "1-1-LT1".
it's at the point where you can confess your love for jess, so you can play from there

Not at all, I think you've made your point well enough. Now it's up to people here to decide if they agree, disagree and if that changes how they view this game and maybe other games created with using a similar process.


Moving back to the main topic. I think I've read that the next planned DLC is focused on Eric (specifically cucking?) but has there been anything communicated regarding possible GGGB game content after that?
