Everyone has their opinion and there have been games I was not impressed with compared to the hype from other gamers. However I feel GGGB is the exception and I think the amount of goodwill for this game speaks for itself.

What I think makes this game stand out, and I have repeated this in many posts, is its replayability. Certain scenarios and relationships work only if you are sufficiently good and vice versa. So the options matter. Even when you are on a path a single choice makes a difference in your character and relationship with NPC and change their path. Granted its not earth shattering or monumental like in ordinary games but for an adult VN it is astonishing that there is so much detail in story.

Another point is that the NPC grow and evolve their character throughout the game according to your alignment and how you choose to develop your relationship with them. You have warm redemption, sugary romance and filthy lust depending on your choices and relationship. Again this corresponds to replayability because you are curious how it turns out if the choices were different (in my case anyway).

There is something for everyone and once again not exactly earth-shattering or extreme but for an adult VN there is a surprising amount of flexibility and options. Also should be noted the core gameplay is corruption so yes it might tilt more scenarios in that direction but I also liked the good path since it wasn't corny. I played extreme good and bad and everything in middle and found so much endings and epilogues to surprise me including hidden epilogues that i found out only through the F95 forum.

Comparing GGGB to ORS is I think unfair because ORS is built on the success and feedback on GGGB. It is two different games in tone, features and gameplay. So I would suggest you play the full game and then decide. You won't regret it
I am on your side at every argument here. Youre completely right.

I can see how different the outcome every single time is when you have a choice. Thats really outstanding. And that is something you will get in Our Red String too, even bigger.

And as i wrote... you can clearly see that ORS is the second project... of course you cant compare these two exactly. First of all, both game have a very different approach in the story, and its obvious that many good things out of GGGB found its way in ORS.

I dont think that i said GGGB is a bad game, and i dont think it is.. but the story and the charactres are just not my cup of tea... but many things in this game are things that i like and found myself again in ORS. Like the unbelievable different choice-outcomes for one. Or just the look... i have a thing for hand-drawing games... (not comic look, i like a realistic touch) In this deparment GGGB is really great, and OSR even better.

And as you said... the core game is corruption, and that in particula is a thing i just dont like. And if you choose just to avoid "every" thing about it, the game doesnt really work for me, thats it. :)

In OSR you can go a corruption path too, for both protagonists... but the "non"-corruption options ware working so much better than in GGGB. But thats obvious if you just read the title of the game ^^ On of the things that made me think that GGGB is not my thing in the first place... and its turned out to be right.

But no offense to anyone, everyone has different taste, and GGGB is just not mine... story - and charactrewise. But the gameplay, and artdesign is really great.

Hey to each their own. I kinda got the impression you didn't play the game through which from your comments I realise i misunderstood. My bad. May we all continue to enjoy Evakiss's games .

After downloading and succesfully playing the upscaled 1440p version for a bit, the UI elements of the game are now suddenly all messed up and significantly smaller than they used to be, and nothing I do seems to fix it. Any text that pops up doesn't have a textbox around it anymore and it's sometimes hard to read. Even deleting all game files and redownloading either version (original or upscaled version) just gives the same issue since this problem arose. Any suggestions for a fix?

I feel stupid cause i cant understand the walkthrough guide
i feel the same, i wish there was a more verbose plain text edit. one without relying on codes and abbreviations. maybe even if it was just formatted like the old school CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) novels

This game remembers me Brazzers. There a lot gangbang, BBC and other.

Scene at black rapper villa is very nice.

But can't found in game good person for dating. Don't like endings.

It looks complicated at first glance. You will understand better as you play along. We all did
I use walkthrough only for some scenes. To complicated to see all scenes.

Our Red String. The next game by the dev
Our Red String is better. More complex and interesting story, more funny girls especially main girl.

Eh... Can I be honest? Ian segments are a fucking bore. In his group of friends he's just the "normal", boring one and doesn't really have a lot of compelling storylines.

He's the Ted Mosby of the game, in short.
Eh I kinda disagree tbh. I love the experience of being the guy to date the nude model onlyfans camgirl. I think it's actually pretty well done and realistic regarding his feelings on the topic. Or at least I miss having that experience irl haha

Been playing around, making a bad, bad bitch out of Ashley. Goddamn, it seems almost unreal (and incredibly funny) to watch a goodie two-shots slowly turning into... . Still, it's interesting to see that even then, she can hardly handle that she had a hand in her dad's suicide (even if she's trying really hard to deny it).

I REALLY LOVE This Game, but it NEEDS a GOOD "Walk-thru"!!
That 'Scene Guide' is a Fucking Joke, and Confusing as All kinds of Hell!!
(Far too Many "Do This" and "Do Not Do That's")

The problem is that this game is not organised into specific routes, but a seemingly limitless combination of different choices. No walkthrough can be organised into "bad girl route", "gang girl route", etc. because there are not one, but many ways to end up with pornstar Ash, pregnant-from-her-dad Ash, slutty girlfriend with Dave/Eric Ash, etc.

The only way to provide info on the game is to list in a chronological way all the little decisions you need to make to obtain a particular result in the game, NMC per NMC.

"169a", for example, corresponds to the scene number. There is no way to check where it stands really in the game (AFAIK), but after playing a couple of times, you start remembering when milestones occur in the general storyline (e.g. Eric's funeral), the dialogues of a particular scene that will help you identify other scenes' numbers and where approx. these scenes occur.

The walkthrough begins with decisions not related to other NMCs: appearance, drug addiction, etc. Then it's really a question of NMCs. I agree the walkthrough for some NMCs like Dave or Eva is really difficult to navigate through, because there are so many different combos possible. But it's probably the only way to provide an exhaustive source of info on the game.

What do you want to do with each NMC character? Hurt them, love them? If you want to really obtain a certain result with an NMC, look at all the options avilable in the sections for each NMC character and be careful to meet the requirement for each scene mentioned in the section.

Anything else would add up to "my own favourite game route for Ash", which might make you miss stuff that you might like or would have wanted to do to get the same ultimate result concerning Ash herself. She can be a pornstar with or without fucking her mom, her ex-boyfriend's dad or taking cocaine.

You can definitely say it's the inevitable drawback to the best written and most complex scenario-ed porngame ever made till now, in my opinion.
