I agree, the ones I've played felt inferior to GGGB, at least when it comes to branching paths, game mechanics and writing quality. DoD had great renders, but the story was almost lineal, DMD is packed with slow, redundant writing and constant choices that don't affect the story and TAC felt like it was trying to be GGGB but it bit more than it could chew and the developer had to stop the progression to re-make and re-code the earlier chapters... I don't know, the ones I played never felt so deep and rich in choices, the way you can affect the story and the characters and all thatMost of these games have nothing in common with GGGB. And I doubt that even a single one of them has such a variety of choices and consequences that come from those choices as GGGB has, which is the main feature of it.
I maybe played half of the games you mentioned, but certainly those I did play were much less enjoyable to me compare to GGGB.
