Things went the opposite of well over these past two weeks, but here's the English translation up to the fourth repayment period. This time around again, you can just play until you get to the TL note signaling the end of the translation.
~130 more maps, 7100+ more text boxes, 27 events + 10 mini-events. At a conservative ten words per text box estimate, this section alone reaches the wordcount to be considered a shortish (~260 page) novel, which is like, pretty insane.
I should also note that I made a certain retroactive change that could cause some confusion as you're reading along (TLDR: Zach refers to Grace as "Sis" now, not "Boss"). You might recall that in the prologue there was a character named Zach, Grace's henchman/sidekick/fellow orphan. He refers to Grace as "Boss", which is a somewhat uncommon translation of 姉貴, or Aneki for any half-weebs, or if you'd prefer, one of the ways to refer to an older sister/someone that's like an older sister (Grace), or an older female figure one respects (Grace), and sometimes in an informal hierarchical context, like gangs (Grace, also where the "Boss" translation comes from) and martial arts (Grace). In those contexts, an Aneki is usually some sort of female badass (Grace). Zach's use of the word encompasses pretty much all of those, and his relationship with Grace is equally as nebulous, but this section plays up the immorality of being an Aneki and disappointing your younger counterpart, which "Boss" doesn't work very well with. Because of this, Zach will now refer to Grace as Sis, or his sister, with the understanding that they're not related by blood, but their relationship is sibling-ish. To be honest, it pains me to type out Sis in a translation aiming for natural English dialogue (or ever), which biased me into trying and failing to make "Boss" work, and I may just go ahead and redo all his dialogue once I'm done translating the game to have him simply refer to Grace by name, but for now, he gets to talk like the protagonist of a fakecest video on Pornhub.
Anyways, with that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the several hours of content, and thank you once again for following along with the translation. I don't have an ETA on the next patch because my workflow is going to be changing, largely because I'm starting to get burnt out by working on this consistently, and also because my life obligations have changed. But there are like four or five scenes in the next section with really hot, unique concepts, so I'll be looking to get the next patch out for the sake of those, at least.
Lastly, as always, feel free to leave me any feedback or critiques. I'd be interested in seeing which events people thought were the best reading experiences from a text standpoint, because my stylistic approach to translating the prose parts especially was something that varied over the month or so that I worked on this patch.
