I don't know if anybody here can give you a satisfying answer so my advice would be to play it yourself and see if it's something for you or not but you will have to know if you wanna try it. I personally like the game much

As for the exact number I think not even MB knows why, he's just added LI's he think would fit in/be hot.

A Satou said™, just play it and see if it's for you. There are 7 LI's that are unavoidable (different kinks are optional, not the vanilla stuff), Allison, Amy, Liz, Cat, Jamila, Asami and Shizuka. The rest are up to you!

There are 7 main girls, the others are there for many reasons, variety, story progression, character development, serving certain kinks, fun... you name it.

As far as I'm concerned, it's not shown any sign of being too much to handle.
But I can't answer that for you, your opinion may differ. Play it & see what you think.

To be completely fair, that lineup/render for the girls isn't doing them full justice. Based solely on that, I wouldn't be attracted to any of them either. But when you see the renders of them in the game, you completely change your mind.
