Aiko will make another appearance most likely, but ultimately she's a side character and won't be part of the harem. The same goes for Elaine, she's also a side character and was never meant to join our harem, and while I myself am also disappointed that Elaine won't make another appearance, I'm not gonna go on a rant about removing a side character from the game that was never an actual LI anyways. So you're mad that two side characters aren't making appearances, and that instead Shizuka who is one of the main 7, an unavoidable main love interest who lives with the MC, is making too many appearances... no shit.
Unless a character is either, part of the magnificent 7, a girlfriend of the MC, or a lover of the MC (not just a fuck buddy/casual sexual relationship) then they aren't gonna be in the harem, and will likely rarely show up. An example of another person who you shouldn't expect to have many appearances or join the harem would be Lily. (At least everything up to this point would suggest so)
I'd have to say part of the problem(?) is how much development Elaine and Aiko have gotten already as characters, they both have connections not just with the MC but with other main characters, so them just disappearing seems weird. Elaine seems to have to much of a connection with Amy and her past to think she wouldn't at least visit fairly regularly, if not frequently, to see both Amy AND the MC, and Aiko had to much connection to never spend any time with Shizuka and thus the MC.

So, while I agree that Shizuka may be the worst part of the story, it is still a good story and she is a champion of a wingman and going to help us honey dip all these broads.

As a preferer of the more mature ladies in the game, who's not into the whole kawaii uwu thing, Shizuka can feel a bit grating sometimes. Really banking on MC's super sperm so we end up in milfs everywhere all the time. I do appreciate the sheer breadth of options though and the amount of kinks within, especially that MC does what all his ladies want, rather than being a selfish prick. Just wish we had a bit more of a balanced rotation. Although once it's done maybe it'll feel that way and it just feels super "maid" heavy right now cause that's the arc were working through and we're getting it piece by piece.
Alas I'm a scummy pirate though. So Moonbox is and should do what they prefer. It's their story to tell and the more they enjoy the process the more story we get and the less likely a burnout is.

The wholesome parts of shizukas involvement are some of the best in the game imo even if there is less of it over time

Maybe Aiko doesn't want to join his harem anyways, have you ever thought about that, and she'll likely still show up later on. As far as Elaine goes, yes she'll probably visit Amy in the future (maybe after the events of the game), but that doesn't mean that she'll keep fucking the MC, for all we know Elaine could end up in a relationship before she comes to visit in who knows how long. Hell there's also a chance Amy and her have a falling out over something, It's better if we just wait and see what happens.
I'm personally just gonna let MB do his thing and see the direction he decides to go, instead of just ranting about things that somewhat disappoint me. Also with so many side characters, it gives less time to develop actual love interest and the main cast, and I would rather some side character's be retired that way other characters get more time to develop and make more appearances. I mean more time with the Reds, Mila, Tanya, Katie, Liz, Priya, Polly, Sophie, Izzy, Ophelia, Natalia, Aaliyah, Jada, Jasmine, etc... sign me up!
