No, but if it works any like the PC there is a point in part one where you be asked to save ( to memorize the save # is a good idea here) and when you start part 2 you're asked if you want to load a save (be carefull only the afore mentioned works)
If installed correctly part 2 should update over top of part 1. All the saves will still be there. You won't be able to replay anything from part 1, but you can keep going from the save here screen.
That was kinda an asshole way of asking that, don't you think? So to answer you in kind, nope, no animations, so probably best for you to just fuck off and try a different game.
