you have to hold ctrl to fast forward if you use tab you don't have to hold it to fast forward and if you right-click the skip button you can fast forward until the next choice comes up

These skip options only ever work on content I have seen already. No one ever mentions that part. Unless I am doing things wrong. (I dont edit the game files unless I want to access commands, if that is how you do it, but ther is no need in this VN)

To skip what you haven't seen you need to change the settings to skip unseen
It looks pretty much the same in most games, with some style differences

It's mostly used by people who can't load the latest save and those that wanna fast forward in a replay but as S1nsational said, you can change it in the settings.
