Some notes:

1. At the end of content, there is usually a screen that tells you it's the end of current content, and you should go back a screen and save. That is completely distinct from the black screen that says "SAVE NOW" in very large white letters. When you get to that screen, you do not roll back to save; you save on that screen.

2. You do need to finish part 2 before installing part 3; the "SAVE NOW" screens are only at the very end of a part. I strongly suspect that some people have tried to move on to part 3 before actually finishing part 2. That doesn't work - the only save from part 2 that does work in part 3 is the one on the "SAVE NOW" screen.

3. Since I use the pre-patched Android release, I can't say if not having the patch in place can cause problems. My understanding is that the part 2 patch works for part 3 as well; try putting it in and see if it helps.

thats the thing im on part 3 allready im only going from 0.36 to 0.38 i've been updating this regularly and just transfering my saves over each time with no problems, i updated it this time and it didnt work i put the patch in and even updated ren'py to see if that would help but nothing as yet.. im on pc it seems strange no one else has come across this i've been using ren'py for visual novels for like 6-7 years so its not like im new to the whole transfering and updating the files i apprieciate you tryuing to help would it help if i screen shot my error??

I'm just sad some of my favorite characters barely get any screen time because of the sheer amount of LIs in the game. :/

I think the problem with most harem games, isn't the large numbers of girls available to have in your harem, it's that the vast majority of players come to these games while they're still in active development, and so they're getting everything in drips and drabs and so complain about how it's ages since this that or the other favorite girl of theirs got content, forgetting that were you to play this large harem game for the first time when it's complete you'd never have any complaints at all.

It's a matter of perspective.

Pointless even if there is a game that gets updated daily with animations I don't care, I do not put points into constant updates because some devs have only this as a job, and some have real life jobs and working as a hobby/side hustle.

Uhh i think I found your problem you are trying to Update from 0.36(part 2) to 0.38(part3) if I understood it right. You have to play 0.37 until the end because that's the end of Part 2 and after that dl 0.38 and extract in a seperate folder.

Game doesn't need animations, at all. However i'll concede on the point that sound would have been a nice "Nice to have". The "It's 2023 - Where animations?" argument is self defeating in a game that was designed not to have animations in it. Because you will demand the devs to do more and more. Causing more and more burn out because many more cannot keep up with the demand. This is Moon's love child and he will raise it as he sees fit - Not to appease a group of people.

Just play the game for what it is and not for what you want it to be. Simple really.

All the other girls in the game, they show their interest, it's up to you to do something about it. You can easily say NO. It is unfair to say Yes and then blame the dev, or the game.

Also, you can have how many opinions you want, that doesn't mean they are correct and that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion about you and your opinions. It's, perhaps, fair to note that, if you avoid everyone but the M7, you're passing on a lot of content - and the VN updates are often going to seem extremely short.

Mind you, there are a number of posters who don't like members of the M7, and would possibly prefer if the game focused on Cat and her gymnastics team, or on Liz and Amy, or on Aiko and Shawna. So, it's unlikely that removing the optional LIs would ultimately make people happier; they might get more content with the remaining characters, but that won't satisfy if the featured characters aren't to your taste.

This forum does have a number of regulars. They do get tired of certain questions/complaints that are often responded to every third page, but that some people will ask even if the post immediately preceding theirs. These include such things as a lack of animations, the members of the seven unavoidable love interests, and the amount of time it's taking for the titular grandma to decide to perform actual sex acts with her biological grandson.

It's disturbingly common for people to go to forums and suggest changes to a game that would cater to their own personal interests more, as if the game's creator excluded them because he hadn't thought of them, rather than because the creator isn't interested in them. At some point, you begin to wish these people would simply go off and find a game that interests them.

Moonbox decided that being able to provide regular updates with a reasonable amount of content was more important than including animations. It's not something he has ignored - in fact, he just released a sister game to this one that includes animation. Note that that was a one-off release, and was released as Completed. He may well have worked on this side project for months before releasing it, so there were no expectations as to how long until it was released.

This dev, on this game, is running without animations, and has found a reasonably-sized audience who like regular updates even without animations. He's created a game with various optional love interests to cater to a variety of kinks - at the cost of some of those characters going months without content. Again, his readers expect that at this point, and are willing to wait a little longer to see those characters. For kinks they find distasteful, they can usually avoid them - however, a certain amount of (relatively vanilla) content with the seven main LIs is avoidable.

No one is arguing that your opinions are invalid (no matter how wrong they are ), at least not seriously. What's really being questioned is why you continue to express them, and to follow the forum. If you want to leave an opinion on the game that people cannot directly respond to, you can leave it as a review; by posting to the forum, you're inviting responses. And, for the most part, people who don't find the game interesting tend to remove themselves from the forum, leaving those who like it (hence, your "cult").

To be fair, this "reviewer" made no comments on the type of LI's, only the number of them. More pertinently, they are more interested on the fact that by having so many, their preferred take too long to show up. Basically saying that ONLY their choices are important and the choices offered to others shouldn't exist in order for their preferred to show up more frequently.

Basically, they want a tailored version of the game, one with only their wanted LI's, with animations, with sound. Since that doesn't exist, he feels it is fair to say that the game isn't good.

If you pass all, yeah, you lose a lot of content. But, you can pick and choose. I didn't. I went in and accepted all. There's more than enough content to keep me waiting for Tanya's scenes, I have no qualms in saying that Tanya is my main goal in this game. We've had maybe 5 scenes with her. Maybe more, but not much more.

I don't really care, I take all the content, enjoy it and keep going. Why? Because I'm not that type of user, I understand that the game isn't made by my standards, and never will be. I understand that giving this amount of choices to cover many types of LI's, will always mean that there will be less time for each of them. Intelligent and sensible people will all understand that dividing a pie in more portions will always mean that smaller portions will happen.

To that reviewer, the problem of the game is that it wasn't made for him. They can't even understand that that is what they are complaining about. But it is.

ahhh ok that would make sense i've downloaded 0.37 and transferred my saves and so far it works fine hopefully it will let me go to 0.38 afterwards thanks for the help its greatly appreciated

There is no "no-animation" tag so how could it have one? Every Game on the Site here that doesn't have a "Animation" tag doesn't have Animation at least that's how I see it.
