It is a v68 save file that’s what’s confusing me I’ve got v69 hit start ask for part 3 save works get a black screen with the next morning click error screen error saying it can’t find label v69 and I have part 4 and 5 in separate folders

Make sure the image says SAVE NOW! AND the first two words of the bottom text are SAVE NOW!
I have all of that on my computer. I have not played the game yet, but I might give it a try, it sounds interesting.Pleasure mate.
If you haven't played before, then you'll need to download Part 1 first.
Part 1 runs up to v0.16.
Part 2 runs from v0.17 - 0.37.
Part 3 runs from v0.38 - 0.53.
Part 4 runs from v0.54 - 0.68.
You'll need to play through to the end of each Part, where you will reach a SAVE NOW screen. Saving there is the only way to continue your game in the next part.
The later parts do not contain any of the earlier parts, so you can't pick up Part 5 and start playing, unless you have a save from the end of Part 4. Same for each prior part.

yes thats where im saving just checked my part 4 did a fresh download of part 5 same error message i really hope i dont need to redownload part 4 as i dont have wifi at the moment maybe v70 will work for me

Newest update is the start of part 5 and is less than 1 GB. So no need to be compressed.

Since it's the first "update" of a new part, and it's isn't big enough to be compressed, there's not need of a compressed version.
I think it's like 400 something MB for this update, so, basically, it's the size of an update when it's compressed.
You'll probably got them after the first two or three updates of a new part.
Would you be kind enough to share one?
