yeah i found that folder .. it only had like 15 saves in there .. i deleted them .. but they are still in my game
There are two save locations (don't ask me why). The renpy folder under %appdata% and an additional save folder under the games 'game' folder.

I would guess that main purpose of the appdata folder is to create a centralised place for saves that may need to be carried over to new versions of games.

Actually, the main purpose of RenPy games (and most games in general) keeping save files in the AppData folder is so that the save data isn't automatically deleted upon uninstalling the game. That way, if you reinstall a game later, you can immediately pick up right where you left off. It's no different than how gaming consoles have kept save data in a separate location from game data since consoles started containing internal storage devices.

In the particular case of RenPy games, they primarily use the /game/saves/ folder for while the game itself is running and do a sync with the AppData save folder afterwards. On the flipside, when there is no /game/saves/ folder present when the game is launched, the contents of the AppData save folder for that specific game will be copied over automatically, if it exists.

Uh no the saves don't get automatically copied over. When you make a save in the game it is saved to both locations but if there are saves present only in one of those locations they stay only in that location unless you copy them manually or overwrite it. The persistant file is loaded at launch and then saved (again at both locations) when you close the game, so that is overwritten constantly.

Also is good to remember that the primary save locations is the AppData one and the /game/saves/ is secondary, which means if you have different saves in each folder in the same slot the game will load the one from AppData.

No need to get iffy...

The game is now half done. It already has something like 40 hours of content. So, we balk at anyone that wants to wait for it being completed, because it is so far in the future.

But, you do you. Even if we can't understand your motivations.

Peace
Right, no need to get iffy. And players mostly have no idea of the amount of work that goes into a video game. Some dev's do manage to make a living off of patreon and steam (like DPK of BaD fame), but mostly making video games is a labor of love, for which devs are due at least huge thanks.

But there are reasons why players might get tired of long waits between many game installments. For me, I am old enough that by the time a new installment comes out, I often don't remember much about what went before, and if the final version is 3 years away, I have no assurance that I will even live that much longer. My hunch is that I am not the only one around here like that.

So, I try to avoid incomplete games, or at least games that don't have significant development so far. 40 hours of gameplay is pretty good though.

Sure.

Not only does it have 40+ hours of content already, it has a VERY short development cycle, 1 update every 15 days. Or 2 every month. Or 24 every year. Each update is about 1 hour of content, depending on choices and clicking speed, obviously.

So, while in general, what you say is true, none of that applies HERE. All your shots missed the mark. Water. Every time.

Better luck next time.

who we can preggo in this game
Every female that shows up more than once. Even some of those that show up only once.

7 of them you will not be asked anything except some kinks. The others is always "By your choice".

Peace :)

I think it's an extreme pity that the information about whether the girls are pregnant or not didn't make it into the subsequent parts after Part 2 when the relationships are depicted
