Yeah, I forgot the title. I have it on my, play it eventually, list. I have played most of the Square and Enix then Square Enix games. The idea of playing androids just did not really appeal to me too much, no matter how hot they might look.

Maybe we can have another threesome with Zelda and Debbie, cosplaying as Aerith and Tifa or as Yuna and Rikku.

You're quite correct, it doesn't mean that we should do nothing. I do not know if anyone did propose that, I certainly did not.
But what we should do needs to be correct, which was my whole point.

Stating in the OP "Save where it tells you to" is not remotely specific enough to solve the issue for most who encounters problem with save transfers at the start of a new part. The game tells people to save at the end of each update & saving there does nothing when you start a new part. Only saving on the black SAVE NOW! screen does.

So, if we're going to add something, it needs to tell them specifically where & when to save, otherwise we're just going to get more questions, complaints, people saying they followed the instruction to the letter but it didn't work.
Which makes it worthless.

The weirdness of some people not getting something I find simple despite my quirks is enough to give me a small headache. If I knew how to do it I would post the one gag reel of famous characters putting their hands on their faces in annoyance every time it gets asked shortly after it was already explained. I've lost count of how many times I've seen a question asked when the answer was already posted in the same page or one/two pages a short while ago, and on the same day the question was asked.

What you talk about is what I call a "Similac and Pampers" situation, meaning that people come into the threads not bothering to read the previous 2 or 3 pages to find out if someone has answered their particular question. I followed those instructions originally but it did not work. it asked for v3 loaded it again and skipped through v4 saved at point again but it again would not take it.

Yeah, that's by far the most laxative like one.
Question asked, answer provided. Literally the next post asks the same damned thing.

Where did you extract part 5 to? Over the Part 4 folder or to a New Folder?

Since it's asking for the Part 3, it seems to me that you are running the Part 4.

If the game is asking for a Part 3 save, then it needs to have been made at the very end of v0.53 (end of Part 3).
To load your save from Part 4, into v0.69 (Part 5), it has to have been made at the very end of v0.68 (end of Part 4), when you get the black screen with SAVE NOW! written on it.

It is a v68 save file that’s what’s confusing me I’ve got v69 hit start ask for part 3 save works get a black screen with the next morning click error screen error saying it can’t find label v69 and I have part 4 and 5 in separate folders
